a friend said he is impressed by the many places i've been at this young age (i am actually not young anymore).. the world is so huge, if i don't take the chance to travel earlier, i'm afraid i won't be able to do so when i get older.. hence 10 years ago i told myself that i must try my best to go to one place every year.. due to the reason that i only have more complete posts for my trips in recent years, i guess it's good to write/re-write my older trips, for sharing (no worries, i'll not bombard you with the posts, but one post per city guaranteed) and more importantly for my own memories in the future.. we shall then have my Nepal sightseeing trip 10 years ago in 2003 to kick-start this series of travelogue posts.. perhaps some may ask what's there worth to go to Nepal?? to me, i don't mind what the place is, as long as we keep an open heart without prejudice to experience and appreciate the different cultures, every place in this world can be beautiful.. :)

    5. As long as travelling with someone we really enjoy being with, we will be happy going anywhere.

Over sea or own country isn't a matter at all.

  10. It looked like Summer season when you visited Nepal and could wear casual attire. The place looks unspoilt and not commercialized like China. How about their toilets???

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. errr, it was Diwali end of October.. weather starting to get cooler as Nepal slowly enters winter season.. so the weather was just nice, roamed freely in casual attires.. oh, i had no problem with their toilets actually, we were brought to decent restaurants so i don't remember using any public toilets at all..

  11. I see their roof designs looked similar to some roofings I saw in Shanghai and Japan. Is it Buddhism style or merely copied each other?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. i guess they all have something in common.. Nepal is very much influenced by Tibet and India, and Buddhism originates from India.. China was influenced by Buddhism and Japan was greatly influenced by China.. all are linked~~ :p

  31. Nepal reminds me of Bhutan. Bhutan is famous because of Tony Leong and Carina Lau's wedding was held in that country.

Nepal must be a very holy Buddhist country, country like this must be very peaceful and serene. Good for meditation and calming our mind.
