Good morningeveryo.e!!!
ReplyDeleteCny deco! Yay..am going shopping tomorrow.
Good morning, meow and SK!!
DeleteGood morning, world~
I saw that CNY deco in 1U during my recent trip to KL, but how come I didn't feel the same? Maybe I was too busy chasing my son across the "fake road" and missed out the fun?
Good morning bloggers. CNY is so close now. Aiyo! This Thambee and Ah Hua went to 1-U and didn't invite me. So near yet so far.
Deletegood mornin AH Hua....at least you been to 1U la...Me paiseh leh...yet to go LOL. Guess the nearer we are to a place, the less we go there. 1U CNY decoration looks like what I baru see in SK blog here :p
DeleteThough I didn't go there myself, I can see here in SK's picture. The decor is indeed very unique and very Chinese New Year atmosphere.
DeleteToo bad, I won't be travelling anywhere during Chinese New Year. My husband has plenty of friends and relatives to entertain in Chinese New Year.
Annay, I went to KL on your birthday week. You were so busy and fully booked by family, friends, boys and girls. I didn't make any early-bird reservation, how to meet up in 1U?
DeleteMoreover, you just dropped by to the hotel, ala touch n go style. Again, I didn't get to meet the legendary Letchumi.
Letchumi said very sorry she didn't come down from the car as Anay kurung her inside the car. The guards at entrance shooed her away. I thought we all could meet and chit chat beside the car. Next time come for 1 week and SP will organize poolside party from 5pm to 5am. My old condo's pool still can do Hawaiian party.
Deletehappy morning to all people..
Deletetoday is a good day to me..
everything goes on smoothly..
i just hate that some of my works will carry forward to CNY and then it will be very tension for me.. getting calls when you happily enjoy your holiday..
anyway ah hua & yannie can come to KL on sat and then go back to on Sunday..
Deletejust come over and enjoy and SHOPPING..
SP, I cannot go to KL again. In Taiping here, I also shop until I drop already. I just saw a pair of black high heels that cost RM100. I am still thinking whether to buy or not. But, life is so short, just buy la! As long as happy ma! Aiyo, I always give myself excuse when come to shopping. How? Help!
DeleteHaha Yan, I think only you can save yourself... Like you said, 人生有几多个十年?So just buy la! :p
DeleteHello everyone!
DeleteTonight I check-in really late here.
Sorry sorry SK.
Such nuisance now cannot read your post from the smartphone. So must wait till look at PC.
LOL sk started a new trend. more and more showing old, photos apart from hhbc. maybe they got challrnged by Anay too?
ReplyDeleteAlamak..typo error again....I meant challenged..
Deletehave not been to any mall yet.
I think this weekend will b very busy la at malls.
funny I used to buy load s of cny deco to decorate but now as get older feel lazier.
Meow I am still shocked that SK posted this today!!!!!!! I also took same photos and wanted to post today. Now my mood gone liao! SK got same brain and vibes!
DeleteI was attracted to this decor as this mall invested a lot of money to build this old streets of HKG style. Looks like Temple Street in 1950s.
DeleteAnay, you post la! I want to see more picture of 1U decor. I don't mind you post the same thing as SK. You may have different thoughts. Please share.
DeleteYa, ya, annay please post the photos of old Chinatown street and say your thought.
DeleteHow come I didn't snap any photo when I walked pass the street? Now think about it, feel rugi pulak!
I surely take lots of pictures should I go there. But I don't think I won't be going there till after the CNY.
DeleteAnay...birds of a feather ....LOL...why mood gone la...post la..
DeleteSK photo so mall la. I wanna see preperly also cannot. You also post up la. At least for me and Yannie to see la. Me unlikely be going there la
Okay okay Anay will post it but not today la. After all SK is Anay's only Thambee dei. I must not hog his limelight today. Let's spam kau kau here la today.
DeleteI also like 1U decoration..
Deleteseems a fantastic idea.. but again it is a money idea making..
they make this small shops and then rent it out to the people.
I see some shops like Pun chun selling duck noodles are there.. good idea
Now, 1U got sale kah? I thought the biggest sale was in Christmas every year. OMG! I am tempted to go 1U.
DeleteI avoid malls nowadays.
DeleteSo tarak see any mall decorations.
No festive feel for me.
Saw this in somebody's blog - very nice. Nicer than Tokyo Street, I would say.
ReplyDeleteOf course this is nicer than Tokyo Streets! The CNY stuffs and desserts sold there gives us a very old HKG streets theme.
DeleteTokyo Street is permanent. And nothing really special about it lah...
DeleteTHis one feels more special as it is for a short time only and for a festive season. :)
I like old streets too! Oh no, does that mean I'm also old already? :P Happy Chinese New Year to you!!
ReplyDeletethat's nice! I get to view it here. I don't have the time to visit KL during this period.
ReplyDeleteI thought of buying some small lanterns home to decorate.. for many years now, I didnt hang up any CNY deco.. see rajin or not, i might end up buying some.. :)
ReplyDeletehehe.. that day I wanted to go to chinatown and get some lantern..
DeleteI heard that the CNY atmosphere was very happening..
唔怪之得最近睇到咁多細路仔相啦,原來喺咁。
ReplyDeletenice decorations, feel to go One U to see it myself~
ReplyDeletewell it is good that we look forward.. but it is really happy when we look back on what we had achieved and all those happy memories..
ReplyDeletelike when me and my wife look back on my blog we laugh on all the things that we did together..
I don't dare to read my old entries in my blog, i scare I will laugh at my own very stupid enteries last time.
Delete*entries.
Deletewith this decoration it left a small stage..
ReplyDeletelast year I remember that I watch the lion dance at 1U.. I love to watch lion dance show..
Wanakum. Thanks so much Bananaz now no need to go there, one eye sees all already save me one trip. haha.
ReplyDeleteBananaz, you should go there with Mango one of these days before CNY. It is different to experience the atmosphere there yourself.
DeleteYan, oh really! Bananaz is on the high visual & auditory person according to NLP but sweetie Mango is more kinaesthetic she may wanna go and touch and feel the place hahaha. Shall make time but Bananaz is scared of crowd especially now shoppers are busy-ing with CNY stuff & parking woes etc. May resists going unless she read this blog and points a shotgun at my temple haha.
ReplyDeleteAlready seen this for so long, I went there every Thursday, hehe!!! =]
ReplyDeleteNice CNY Deco in 1U, woww definitely different theme than any typical CNY deco at the mall elsewhere... Remind me to do window shopping there asap... while still in the festive moods la...
ReplyDeleteLuv discounts... What a great bargain... =D Yayyy
well well well what do we have here
ReplyDeleteplaces there is pretty much ready of the chinese new year huh,
well here I just don't know i don't go out often ahaha
well in all celebration mall decors is something iam most
ReplyDeleteloking forward of seeing
I mean the variety of the decorations
they has to offer were just so fun to see
I love those kind of chinese lanterns
ReplyDeletewell it may be the most basic chinese new year
decorative stuff but still it was my favorite
old town style huh,
ReplyDeletewell i think they did a pretty cool
job back there,
and they made some old style stalls too huh
thats clever
well as I have said Chinese new year
ReplyDeletewasn't really celebrated much in our area
so no one's preparing for anything yet
But there are some doing
ReplyDeletegeneral cleaning like wenn here
I dont know if it has something to do with this occasiop
but i guess it was perfect time to do it
That's one of the irony of life
ReplyDeleteyoung people always looks up to what they gonna be when they grow old
and aged people always looks back on how they were before
well in my case I may be pretty young
ReplyDeleteBut looking back and reminiscing my childhood
is something I had fun of doing
me and blue talks about it some times
anyway I have noticed it too
ReplyDeleteand I'll be posting one old ugly pic of me on my next post
maybe haha im quite excited about it
any traditions during chinese new year you
ReplyDeletealways done every year sk?
any rituals or foods to eat?
my perception of chinese new year
ReplyDeletewould be a lot of noises due to fire crackers
dragon dances and a lot of feng shui items
all around
I wonder it we will gonna be receiving
ReplyDeletesticky rice cakes this year my aunt
always gives us those called tikoy
have a great and god blessed day sk,
ReplyDeletetake the best of care and enjoy blogging
my frienf happy chinese new year in advance too
Wah, really really nice and special!
ReplyDelete(But I actually hope to see bigger and clearer photos la, hehe, cause I know I won't have the chance to witness the decorations myself so I can only see them through you people's blogs)
The theme also reminds me of the famous Hong Kong theater street, with lots of old pattern shops, trishaw and even old money.
Delete农历新年总让人想起传统~~
ReplyDeleteoh i see .. yeah CNY is nearly approaching.. I'm sure a lot of ampows and chinese lanterns will dominate the markets and malls
ReplyDeleteWe do not have CNY here .. I mean not all of us but we actually have some active Chinese community here who celebrate such a festive celebration (Binondo Manila in particular)
ReplyDeletei never been to that small China town but they are always being featured in TV.. showcasing those dragon dance
ReplyDeletethe best part is when we receive sticky moon cake from our Aunt.. hehe
ReplyDeleteHappy blogging SK

ReplyDeletewell, didn't really have the chance to drop by One Utama these days V_V . . . OH MAI WHY LA! XD
