Touch wood my house so far only happen 1 or 2 times no water
Bad time for no water when there is so much washing to do before CNY. True, some areas are still without water and may extend to the New Year.
DeleteGood morning, everyone!
touch wood...pleawse please please got water and electricty during CNY
DeleteThere was one year when the electricity got disruption on CNY eve. Many angry locals went to the TNB main office and they almost start a fight with 3 poor TNB maintenance guys.
DeleteYou know how important the lights must be switched on during CNY... it's a good fengshui to attract more $$$
Dark, dark, God of Fortune also won't make a stop. LOL~
LOL... Ah Hua it is true la... You better buy more candles before CNY. I will do the same too!
DeleteAh Hua will buy more red candles, as precaution for CNY electric interruption. If no use on CNY, I can recycle to use for Valentine's Day which comes 2 days after CNY :D
DeleteSparkling romantic candle-light dinner ♥
then 9 months later, a mini ah hua or mini MM will come out....LOL...this year is water snake or gold snake ah?
DeleteWater snake....damn slippery one.
DeleteGood morning everyone.
ReplyDeleteno water no electric is the worse. especially those with kids
I need water. Electricity never mind...
DeleteBecause no water, so troublesome go to toilet.
Especially for ladies.
And especially during that time of the month. O.O
Betul, betul, betul. Given water and electricity, I opt for water too.
DeleteI get agitated whenever there's no water supply, because I can't even wash the dish. But if there's not electricity I can still take 10x of bath when I feel hot.
The water supply got cut off for an hour yesterday when I returned home. I started to nag unknowingly towards everyone. Poor MM and the kids :p
Two days no water is still ok la
ReplyDeleteMy fren in happy garden old klsng road always no water. her area is up the hill top. old houses. nearly every week sure got one time no water.even water come also will b very low pressure.
SK said his friend's house has no water until CNY. Like that I will not have a Happy CNY already. I will cry buckets. I will leave home for oversea during CNY.
DeleteThen will have to go holidays for cny lo.
Deletecny no water how to clean house especially have guests cone. kids spill drinks and stuffs how to mop?
No water, I can buy them to store and drink. Take nice hot shower at any Fitness First gym..!
DeleteNo electricity I will mampus and sweat buckets plus no TV to watch or internet to browse! Arrrrghhh!!!!!!! Arrrrghhh!!!!!!! Arrrrghhh!!!!!!!
DeleteNo elec go lepak shopping mall or kopitiam with wifi la.those places sure have air cond
DeleteNo water, no okay for Ah Hua!
DeleteMy area here has low water pressure too, suka-suka no water supply for 2 hours in the evening, around 7-9pm. No notice or so. Imagine coming home from office and school, can't even cook and need to bath with cold water. And I have to hand wash all my laundry.
Oh, I must lower down my tone here, others encounter longer hours without water. :p
why must lower tone. must yell louder la. election coming.
Deletemy place here is every midnight to 6am low water pressure. the damn management turn off water. already complained. they say they don't how come low pressure. complain to syabas, they say management problem. I suspect its the mangement coz got new management at my apartment here. since they took over go these low pressure problem.
I must be grateful to have water supply everyday. The longest cut-off of water supply I experienced before was one whole day. I cabut to my parents' house to bath, gosok gigi and poo-poo.
Delete1 day only, and I barely survive.
LOL, true also, election is coming, it's time for us to extract, oppss, voice out whatever we want :D
Yea, we must be grateful to have water supply.
DeleteEven if we store the water in pails, still feel a bit inconvenient...
Especially those old houses should be facing low pressure.. the pipe already clog, too many houses..
Deletethose new development houses water pressure is very big...
Nowadays a lot people install the water pump from outside their house.
Deleteto pull the water from the main pipe..
so that they have a higher water pressure...
yes, my friend's house is old house up the Continental Park Hill, SP.
DeleteSome more with the new condominium there the water lagi teruk. Her double storey house permenantly upstair very low pressure and most time no water. only downstairs have water.
My friend lives inside that Continental Heights condo and those rich people inside all suffered & kanasai!!! They had to queue with buckets at midnight. I drove into their basement parking few times and saw cars like Bentley, Ferraris and Lamborghinis!!!
DeleteElection coming.
DeleteThat's why BN saw must vote for them.
So no more water problem in future.
Trust BN...
pffftttt.....
uiks...my fren lives in the d/s ter house opposite. Parking damn susah la. Some more feng shui kena chop off by the condo. her hse always no water
Deleteoh, I can't survive if there's no water! I would keep lots of water in pails and buckets should there be a notice.
ReplyDeleteYes hard to survive without water if have family. cannot cook and wash. if alone then easy a bit. clothes can send to dobi and tumpang mandi at friends house.
DeleteMe too! So many things we do need water, laundry, cooking, showering, dish washing and bla bla bla~
DeleteNo water is still bearable, no electric, I will turn into a grumpy old lady, I sure cannot sit still at home.
DeleteThere is one time that I came back from business trip and want to take a good shower..
Deletekanasai my water tank damage and no water from the tank..
So no water came out? Aiyor!!!!! Must be a big disappointment hor? Muahahahahaha!!!!!
Deleteya lor..even shh shh also need water leh Hayley. Some more family with kids lagi teruk.
Deleteif no water eat outside food also a bit scared. have to go far to eat. cannot eat at the shop nearbu coz they also tarak water. dont know how clean is the food
Oh I still remember 98 water crisis. terrible. big huh hah everywhere.
ReplyDeletelat time stay in walk up apartment. adui..punggah water teruk.
then in office the stench from toilet was horrible. one colleague used some of the saved up water to pour into the toilet. then the cleaner came and maki hamun her till she cried. we all was puzzled . then all complaibt to manager. they changed cleaner after that. Aiyo...98 really bad la. for afew scoop of water gaduh besar
That time, I was in KL also, I studied in Uni final year. I could remember that water crisis as well, very very terrible. Imagine we were staying in the hostel somemore. The condition was very dahsyat.
DeleteAiyo! Hot Mama so young and studying at 1998...Anay was busy working and had to store water in many many pails everyday. That time Klang Valley had no rain. Now it rained almost daily for months since October but where did the water go??? The longkang got crack aah? That Syaaaabas boss lives in a very huge mansion 2 roads away...I will tell him read SK's blog ok.
DeleteReally mandi tak basah lo.
DeleteHow you all managed? Go mandi at friends house ah?
They will say pump rosak or something like that la
Deletesome politic people will say its political ploy. haiz...duno la....no water very mah farn
98 water crisis was a nightmare to me~ I just entered uni and the first week of orientation was a hellish week! I woke up at 5am with a pail to wait for the water truck. I used that one pail of water to brush my teeth, wash my hair and bath. One bath per day and after a long walk around the campus, I smelled worst than a pig when I returned to my dorm at night!
DeleteFYI, that truck came once daily. I can't even do my laundry! And it was my first time leaving home so kinda blur blur and jakun.
Cham, how come I din't remember at all the water crisis you guys mentioned? 1998, I was in Form 2, should be big enough to know what is water crisis ma! >.<
DeleteHayley, you are too young to understand water crisis in 1998 la! We every had to wait for the truck to bring us water supply in the campus.
DeleteI cried buckets until I could use my tear to flush my pee.
water crisis in 1998?
DeleteI am lucky I am in the states....
there is a lot of water there...
ya 98 was the worst...maybe Hayley not in KL then?
Deletehere that time those big big water container very laris oh. every household go and buy . then the big big tanki also very laris. quite a number of house buy those big tanki to store water
Yeah! In 1998, SP was in the states pancut and made the whole states flood with his things.
DeleteIf one or two days tarak water then can use tanki water la. one month no water camel also die lo.
ReplyDeletespeaking if tanki ah...did anyone check your office tanki?
My office was in a 3storey shop office. whole company bought the building. there was one time something wrong with the tanki. call plumber lo. Aiyo...horrifying discovery. there wrte all sorts of skeletons in the tanki. don't know ratsor birds ir what the heck. gosh...and we have be using the water..maybe even fir the coffee bar!!!
Tanki supposed to have cover but duno what happrn to our tanki cover. fly off when windy? Kena curi? Duno la...
Skeleton of animals? Not human one? LOL!
DeleteI dare not see what's inside the tangki. Scare I find those not-supposed-to-be-in it and freak out. I'm very phobia to use tangki water for cooking. Tangki water is merely for washing. I even scold my hubb if he asked me to use the tangki water to cook instant noodle during water interruption.
I get geli easily. Just like the other day, I hand-washed my son's uniforms and put them into the washing machine for a spin dry. When I took the clothes out to hang, I discovered a dead lizard in the washing machine!!! Yucks, I re-washed the clothes. Puit, puit~ Stupid lizard, went there to commit suicide.
LOL stupid lizard...
Deleteof course not human remains la. if human remians sure will read about it in newspaper jor.
Really dont know why that tanki no cover. Think of that already wanna vomit.
Office so we dont know the water the tealady took is from which piap.
I also try not to cook with tanki water. Coz here the tanki water is very muddy. On and off we have to turn off the water then use up all the tanki water to let the mud come out from the tanki.
Poor thing!!! Lots of water here, come on over!!!
ReplyDeleteSK, STP invites you to his home to mandi, and play water in his house mini pool.
DeleteCome, come!!!
DeleteGoing to Sibu is too far, better come to Taiping, Taiping is the most wet and wild place. Suits SK more.
Deletesigh.. hope it will recover soon~
ReplyDeleteOh no! Water is so important I can live without electricity but not water! Hopefully you don't have to live without water anymore :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning SK, Yan, Yvonne, STP, Small Kucing, wenn, SP, TM and everyone here!!
ReplyDeleteSelamat pagi! Zou san~ Zao an~ Ohaiyo~
So coincident! Few areas at Taiping were also affected yesterday, there was a notification letter sent to homes few days ago.
DeleteIt's so inconvenient without water supply! That's why we shouldn't waste water, and use it wisely~
DeleteAnyway, gotto go now. Wishing everyone a happy Friday and have a great weekend ahead!
DeleteI feel very funny when heard about the question whether you got water or not..
ReplyDeleteIn cantonese is saying yau sui mou? Indirectly it was asking whether you got money or not?
My MIL place always no water and she always ask me whether my place got water or not..
I replied to her. YES HAVE LOTS OF WATER..
Not like [SK] hor? His water tap already ran dry...so kesian! Muahahahahahaha!!!!!!!
DeleteDo you all know that when a house has no water supply too often is quite bad feng shui? No water moving, no chi flowing! Water too slow also chi moving slowly!
ReplyDeletealamak...really ah....sigh but my friend wont move house one lah. I know her too well. No water/low water for so many years she will still tahan
Deleteyes I do agree.
Deletewater represent money as well..
so no water no money..
Electric is equal to light and energy, water is equal to wealthy. So, both are important on CNY time.
DeleteIf no electric, i may need to sleep in the car. Sleeping in the car will die one. I read from news.
You know in old old house where the water piping is done on the wall (and not inside the wall), you can actually selit a knife in between the pipe and wall.
DeleteAccording to feng shui, the knife must not placed there because it resembles a cut-off to your wealth. Water being the wealth here.
Ooo itu macam ah...I didnt know this.
Deleteanyway water pipe out side the wall is better. any leakage no need to hack the walls.
true, water represents money. So we need plenty of water and it should be moving too.
Delete有水過水, 無水散水 *yǒu shuǐ guò shuǐ wú shuǐ sàn shuǐ* [pinyin] "got water cross water no water disperse water" (catch-phrase from Cantonese movie ~ 72 Tenants)
ReplyDeletePray & hope the water crisis is resolved soon.
ReplyDeleteBolehLand!!! Memang Boleh!
ReplyDeleteI just can't take a day without water
ReplyDeletei mean bathing is something that is a must for me
even now that its freezing cold out here i make sure i wont skip a day of bath
we just had a water connection last year but before that i used to bring a bunch of containers and fetch water from a distant pump
ReplyDeletewell it was a relief to finally got a connection but then i miss fetching water
ReplyDeleteit used to be my work out too haha
I rememeber back then we had a lost of water too,
ReplyDeleteit was due to a storm i guess,
hmm government trucks were supplying us water then too
good thing yours were quite okay than to experience your friend is having right now I bet they were conserving every drop of water
ReplyDeletehmm how about drinking water sk? Do you have any conflict on it?
ReplyDeletethirst is something unbearable i could be hungry for a day but i can't last if im thirsty
well prehaps events like this were meant to remind us to conserve and value water even more
ReplyDeleteevery drop is a precious one
anyway our country is quite weird when it's drought it's really drought but when rainy days comes it'll be over flowing
ReplyDeletei just hope everything will turn out okay soon for you sk,
ReplyDeleteoh by the way nice memory sk,
Deletein my case i can't remember years
too much hahaha
have a great day and happy blogging sk
ReplyDeletetake care and may god continue to bless you
No water is very cham.. More cham than no electric, right? Which do you need more.. water or electricity? :)
