| 來到新嘅一年第二個星期, 相信大家都已經由持續嘅慶祝活動回歸平常生活喇.. 大家盡情狂玩狂歡狂飲狂食啦嘛?? 聖誕嗰日做咗人生最瘋狂嘅一件事, 就係學人去食「浦飛馬拉松」!! 即係以一個價錢, 由中午12點, 無限次食自助餐, 食到夜晚10點!! 聽落好抵好吸引, 但係呢一次真正令自己體會到咩叫做「不復當年勇」, 其實唔係食咗好多嘢, 但係就開始覺得好飽喇.. 雖然我仍然好喜歡浦飛, 但係不得不認老喇, 與其辛苦自己, 倒不如以同樣價錢食啲比較精緻嘅嘢.. 人老咗, 就要懂得「貴精唔貴多」呢條道理喇~~ :) |
| it's the second week of the new year, i guess everyone should have already gone back to normal life after all the celebrations.. so how were all your celebrations and feasting?? the craziest things i did on christmas day was going for the "buffet marathon"!! meaning with one single price, we are allowed to have unlimited times of buffet from 12pm till 10pm on the same day!! sounds interesting and worth the money, but i rather think this time is the time i really felt i am not capable of eating as much as i (think i) could, though not really ate a lot i already felt my stomach bloated.. though i still like having buffet, i cannot deny the aging process and why not use the same money to have something more fine than to make myself suffer?? as we grow older, i guess we should start to appreciate what is "quality over quantity".. :) |

ReplyDeleteAh yes!!! I am!!! Buffet? No, thank you...I used to be able to go at least 5 or 6 rounds before going for the desserts. These days, one round already kaput...not worth it considering the price one has to pay. How much did you pay for your buffet? Must have cost a bomb - Christmas some more...but never mind, you're so rich! Wink! Wink! LOL!!!

I like to eat buffets though I won't over eat. I just loved to have a small bite of everything that fancied my eyes. The maximum is just 2 plates.

I personally do not like buffetts. The spread may be nice but sometimes the patrons aren't.

But I like the real concept of a buffett. Sampling all sorts of food in one spread. A little bit of each. Not gorging on food and piling them up in your plate and then left uneaten.

DeleteI am curious where Thambee feasted whole day at this marathon? You should have brought laxative tablets to swallow in between so that you could poo them out and continue to eat. If cannot poo, can use chopstick to dig your throat dei. Wakakakaka

Donkey years ago when Steve Jobs have not introduced the forbidden fruit to the world, my friends brought laptop to the buffet session. Makan-makan, rest and play games, then continue to makan again.

ReplyDeleteYes, you are very right!! I cannot take in quantities now.. more on quality.. hahaha.. the stomach just wouldnt expand anymore... that is why the saying goes.. Eating is prosperity... when one can eat, do EAT.. that will come a time when we really dont have appetite.. :)

DeleteHmm, I think always start with something light, then don't drink too much fluid first, then only move on to heavier stuff and dessert..
My records so far, maximum can survive 4 rounds of food, haha! I think consider quite a big eater for a lady hor? >.<

Deleteme also cannot eat a lot at buffet. eat a bit a bit only. Last time kiasu wanna take a lot and eat but then cannot finish. Now i take a bit a bit. coz sometimes food in buffet not really that great. so try a mouthful first. if nice then go back take some more to eat
I had stomach upset for the past few days, didn't have the mood to eat and I watched out for my diet. When my appetite returned yesterday, I was so glad and went for heavy lunch. In the end, I suffered from over-eating and I felt so bloated, caused I got stomachache again!

DeleteThat time still young and metabolism rate was burning at the speed of a bullet train. The most now is, I can only take 2 plates, rest for 2 hours and start eating again.

Buffet is interesting as it offers a wide variety of food. But I could only take a bit of each to make a plateful. I hardly go for second round.

you are still young then you can eat a lot. wont affect your figure much as you digest faster but if older then will have to watch out. The older we are the "rounder" we became.

I love buffet, because I can many types of food in small portion. After eating buffet, I feel very very guilty. So now, because of my mission, I try not to take buffet lunch or buffet dinner. Buffer breakfast still ok for me. Because I can skip the lunch and dinner if i take heavy breakfast.

Deleteif i go buffet i will rugi besar coz am not really into any thing much. mostly take rice and normal looking dish. Dessert also tak makan much except for Ice Kacang or Ice cream. Those cakes and muffins tarak makan. nice to see but taste very sweet la. Me scared too sweet stuffs.
