10.01.2013 | 令人鄙視

[Volume 8 Issue 1, #1650]
saw this opened and consumed pack among the peanuts on promotion in a supermarket.. though this is the first time i see such thing, i still find it quite unbelievable people are doing this.. it's stealing and somemore trying to dispose off the evidence after eating, the chinese say "not wiping the stain on your mouth after eating", waiting for people to clean up your mess?? i really despise such act and behavior.. i know some will say it's the same for me to try all food sampling but never bought any, but how can you associate both act?? it's totally different thing right?? :D

We have the jester to entertain his cock talking daily mah.... I have too many groups in watsaps and facebooks until I hardly look at them.

The media will drive me nuts if I have to read so many facebooks, watsaps, blogs, SMS and Instagram daily!!! Do you know that our Sotong has no Facebook so he is quite free and restless in watsap?

    4. Surpring sotong no Facebook leh. I suspect he have Facebook but purposely dont wanna reveal to us coz linked to the sushi leh. Impossible to have no Facebook.

Maybe like in SK post " dispose off the evidence after eating". He don't want us to give "evidence" to the sushi of his hamsap activities kot :p

Adei...now using laptop to type much easier...just now using phone so hard to type..

    5. Good morning, TA and Small Kucing. Oh, I have that kind of evidence in my shop. Customers would just take some edible items and eat them. But they wouldn't throw the evidence away. They would just leave it somewhere.

    6. Some people just blamed that this happens often in Third World Countries but it is not true. I had seen such nonsense in US too. I would say, where there are humans, there would be greed and crimes!

    7. Morning SK and everyone here.

When I saw this type of things/behavior in the supermarket here, I thought it is only happened in small town. I blamed my own town people uncivilized.
Now I read this in SK blog, I only realised it happened in big city like KL too.
Anay some more said this also happened in US too.

Humans everywhere also the same, have bad sheep.

  2. Yerrrr! Shoppers can be horrid and shameless these days. I often saw this in hypermarkets where the parents munched the food from their trolleys before paying them! I doubt if they ever paid since the whole family finished makan before they reached the counter to pay.

    1. Did u go yo the fruit counter? That one lagi teruk. the people would just take grapes n pop it into their mouth.

saw befire a group if foreign worker does that. kept hanging around the grape counter.

also those mini mandarin oranges. yhet go makan just like that.

I think git staff sees but the staff's also tidak apa attitude.maybe that why made them so daring.

      Delete
    2. I saw there are many people who do that..
not only those fruits but snack food as well..
Until they have to put some people to guard the food.. asking them not to eat..
      some even scold the customer...

      Delete
    3. but padan muka la if kena scolding. Coz its not a buffet mah. they just pick and eat like that habis other customer who wanna buy also dare not buy la especially the snacks. If i see people keep opening and closing the containers like than and their hands touching those biscuits and munchies..I wont buy lo.

I rather buy from pasar malan where the vendor already prepack the munchies . At least even if it is dirty or what i wont see it la

      Delete
    4. Some would even just open a can of soft drink and drink it all. What more, they would just throw it among other stuff. Sometimes, they were caught doing it and they had to pay for it.

      Delete
    5. Saw many families with little children in the hypermarket holding bottles of yogurt drink, and stashed it somewhere in the rack after finishing them. This is called STEALING!

It is such a bad parenting example! I forbid my children from opening any items in the store before paying them.

      Delete
    6. My wife often told me that no matter how hard or tough the parents trained and educated their children these days.....many had fallen on deaf ears! So parents kena blamed for rotten kids as well. Poor buta parents get blamed pula! LOL.

Mothers often advised their sons and daughters not eat "forbidden fruits" before marriage - the kids still ate!!! Look at SP la, good example! Wakakakaka!

      Delete
    7. Hard to comment la. can't fully blame parent. some times outside factor also come in place.

maybe the children didn't learn to "steal" from the parents.

like yesterday...j finished home work want to give me check his home work. the he said mama can I throw the book to you. I told him no and asked where he learn from. he said cikgu xxx always throw books to the children. I ask him how the cikgu throw n he showed. guess the cikgu just lazy to walk to the kids table and give them their book. am thinking to talk to the principalor not...

    8. Children easily "pick up" whatever they see from their surrounding. They learn from teachers, friends and media.

But parents must rectify fast when their children make the mistake. You cannot close one eye, open one eye and the mistakes will get repeatedly done. But parents as good role is very important. I'm guilty as well because MM is a rule breaker. He sometimes will eat the food in the hypermarket and pay later. Geez... and I'll nag non-stop.

    2. Weird right but it's true. They would just open a packet of item and test it. Not nice and they would just ignore it.

    3. I saw it happened at Tesco, during CNY, many hampers and gift sets that were arranged on the rack, but the hamper wrappers were mostly torn off. The gift sets were also opened up already.

I call such people "no moral". I told my girls whenever seeing this.

      Delete
    4. Not only edible items, like groundnuts are the "victim" here, those non-edible like toys, kitchen utensils and stationery are not spared. It's a lost to the company and the patrons couldn't care less, because it's not their loses anyway. What a selfish brat!

      Delete
    5. Ah Hua you might like to try this new tactic by many young punks! Some will walk to the big hypermarkets and bring a new set of clothes, bra and panties to change them inside the Fitting Rooms! After camwhore at the mirror and posted in Facebook, they walked out and went home in new clothes without paying! They left the old and stained dirty clothes inside the Fitting Room! Muahahahahaha!

      Delete
    6. My wife used to know a very well known designer who has a crazy daughter whom my wife taught before. This student always went to the high-end boutiques that sold clothes from Paris and Italy. She tried them all inside the Fitting Room and later posted them all in her blogs!! She didn't buy them but promptly returned the clothes to the waiting Sales Girl outside the Fitting Room. This is honest right???

    5. But some customers would pay for the sweet/drinks or ice-cream first before they eat them. But beware of kids too. Some would just grab a sweet and go. Some parents wouldn't even know. We have to tell them.

      Delete
    6. The children pop sweets into their mouth without paying because their parents didn't teach them; or maybe the parents did the same too.

But some parents get very defensive when you pointed out their children took something without paying. Have you encountered such nasty parents, wenn?

    7. Wenn, my j did that once when he was younger. I went to mini market buy things then paying. he tagged along. at the counter lower shelves hv chocolate and candy. j grabbed a chocolate and we walked out. I didn't realise it. then I look baru saw he holding it on his hand.

    5. SP, this is called lacking of discipline. There's always choices to make - I tell my kids upfront, if they misbehaved outside, we'll head home immediately, without getting anything.

Once my girl told me she wanted to go to loo as soon as we reached the mall, I got furious and turned home. We just came out from home and the distance is only less than 5 minutes (you know how small our town is). Lesson learned, she needs to (fully) clear her bladder at home and mommy dislikes public toilet!

      I'm a stern mommy!

I saw before some supermarket print out and plaster the photo of shoplifetr on the front door of the shop leh

  13. Tired already seeing all these.

People just don't care moral values and sense of uprightness. Free eating = stealing.

Scold them? These people will scold you back.

Who to blame? Parents? Teachers? Society? All play a part. Our own sense of moral also. Can't we differentiate between right or wrong.

Nowadays, it's not about right or wrong but it's only wrong if you get caught.

Otherwise, just go ahead and do.

    Who cares about sin anymore?
