| 今年為自己訂下每日一貼嘅目標, 計埋今日大大話話都已經寫咗338個post, 總算未曾失手.. 今年尚剩28日(汗顏!!), 要完成呢個任務應該唔係問題.. 四年前我訂下同樣一個目標, 但係當年好似非常輕鬆就完成.. 今年可能寫作風格有所改變, 所以似乎經過一番努力先可以keep住每日一貼.. 自己就覺得呢一年寫嘅嘢比較有深度, 唔似以前咁流於表面嘅膚淺, 所以每次寫完一個post, 我其實都會覺好似剛剛完成一件重大差事咁.. 明年喇噃, 當然就唔再係每日都會有新貼啦.. 其實我曾經有諗過, 邊一日我會唔再寫blog呢?? |
| i have set my target to have one post a day this year, including today i have 338 posts to-date, at least i am still keeping the pace.. there are still 28 days to go for the year (scary!!), hence i would say it's not an issue to get this mission accomplished.. four years ago i had the same target but it seemed to be accomplished more easily back then, perhaps my writing style has changed hence it requires my great effort to keep the daily post rolling.. i actually realized what i have been writing this year are kind of "deep" compared to the superficial posts in the past, thus after writing a post i would feel like having just completed one of life's tough jobs.. next year, for sure i will not be blogging everyday anymore.. actually i have always been wondering when would be the day that i retire from blogging?? |

This is bad news! How can you talk about retirement when you are still far from 55 years old? Keep blogging from cradle to grave.

I think once someone decides to blog, blogging becomes a way of life, like breathing, eating, etc. Retirement? Get it out of your system, SK. Once a blogger, always a blogger! Me thinks!
Retiring is not fun. You will feel even bored.
DeleteOIC you've got the adrenaline plunged? Sometimes we do faced the same challenge just like a car or motorbike or even LRT would get *die fire* 死火 sǐ huǒ at times. So next time when you *die fire* re-start sahaja lah.
DeleteEasy when one has an open blog - can talk about anything under the sun. If it's food, you will run out of things and places to go to soon enough....like how I always get slammed for posting on kampua all the time even though I'm featuring different places - some good, some not so good, some real bad. Will probably interest the locals only - so they will know where top go whereas to others, it's just the same ol' kampua, nothing more and nothing less.

Main thing is - we enjoy putting up our posts. We can talk about it. We can argue about it and I think what's most important when we blog : we take responsibilty aboout what we post.

errr, i am not good in writing long stories lah.. that is why even one photo with few lines of words is already something tough for me.. i definitely would not be able to write 500 words all just about kampua noodles!!

DeleteI hope bloggers will stop announcing your plans to retire inside SK's posts again. This has really demotivated him! Earlier on SK has told me he will blog everyday as long as he could. Now look at this Thambee! He has been let down. If anyone wishes to retire, just do so naturally.....no need to say you want to stop spamming or disappear from blogosphere.

i just want to clarify that i mention "wonder" but not "consider" in my posts about retiring from blogging lah.. i have never consider that, meaning i have no plan yet.. but wondering when would be the day, because i always believe one day it will end, just how near or how far in the future..

DeleteBut what triggers SK to ever think of retirement? I once thought of quitting, because I could find the time and topic to blog. I don't want to turn my blog into monotonous blog, like doing food post or the journal of my kids. I'm scared I'll bore my readers to death!
No offence, I'm not saying those solely foodie or parenting bloggers are boring. I'm just weak in that area. I enjoy reading and looking at STP's food post :)

DeleteBlogging does require commitment! I used to blog everyday as well but only during weekdays, and now I have reduced to blogging about 3 times a day. And even then I feel like I have accomplished a major task after each post!

Deleteactually i have downtime before few months right after i started blogging.. i have not been updating my blog regularly for few months, and i finally realized that and told myself to be more committed and if i have this blog then i must not abandon it.. hence, i still keep blogging until now for more than 6 years..

Deletei started blogging since 13.03.2006 i can still remember this very special date, so i am not in my 7th year of blogging.. i think my next target is to have 2000 posts, and then 10 years of blogging, haha!! hope i will be able to do that~~

I started 7th March, 2008...about a year later and now have 1,772 posts and 48,924 comments from 895,672 views.
