Morning, [SK}. Didn't see you at my blog. I've TWO posts today... Happy holidays!!!
ReplyDeleteMorning Arthur, SK and everyone.
DeleteThanks Arthur for your valuable comment dropped in my blog. I appreciate that. Antoher 10 mins time, my training started. It lasts till next weekend.
I can't do much blog hopping. Sorry, if I can't make it this week.
We have no holiday today. We need to work la
Luckily I have scheduled 2 posts in my blog last weekend, knowing that I will be damn busy these 2 weeks.
DeleteYawn! I need a coffee badly now.
Most welcome. Not easy bringing up children...but we do the best we can and at the end of the day, whatever little smile and joy we may get would be worth every effort, every heartbreak, every tear...
DeleteI'm not going to greet anyone today. I'm working on a supposedly-declared-public-holiday and I'm unhappy *pull long face*
DeleteGood afternoon Ah hua and everyone! Don't pull long face nanti all wrinkles!
DeleteTM, have a safe journey. Enjoy your trip. Take more pictures to show us.
DeleteWell this week is really tough week for me...
DeleteWorking and resting is really tough...
Don't worry, [SK]! I did not tell people that you're so mountain turtle, smsed me to ask me what was inside the packet you sent me as you could not open it...when in fact, it was a resealable pack, could open at the top to take the contents out, put back and press to seal again.
ReplyDeleteOops!!!!! I just did! Hehehehehehe!!!!
What's mountain turtle thought they should be in the ocean swimming haha. Very sly way or saying you would'nt tell but only say to expose SK kakaka
DeleteMuahahahahahaha!!!!!
Deletemorning SK. How is your holiday? blogging or working? mine is working+blogging from home
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays to you but not to me. I have no holidays at all. Wish I were still teaching, then I could get all the holidays that I need!
ReplyDeleteI used to look forward to holidays those days. Now I can only envy all of you!
Deletewenn, you are the tauke-soh, working on holidays mean extra good business.
DeleteI used to envy teachers because they get long holidays at every end of the year! Plus, they only work half day :)
Now I really envy all those teachers with lots of public holidays plus school holidays!
DeleteTauke Soh better ...
DeleteHave Los of cash pouring in......
Well we can't complaint too much....
Would prefer to work on holidays as the road is all clear free & easy. Had one appointment last Diwali and one more today in another few hours time. Like the last Diwali appointment in SS3 it was at 11:30hr, there after can go for lunch somewhere nearby and then we *Mango came along* accidentally found 'Chan Sow Lin fish head' at SS3. So will be doing the same in Subang Jaya today same time then go mum mum with Mango again after that..haha.
ReplyDeleteBananaz sounds so happy going dating with Mango. So nice, again jalan jalan cari makam and having Mango going along with you. Now is 10 minutes breaktime in my training.
DeleteYan, yeah biz & pleasure so cool right? haha. Know what after my appointment in Subang Jaya we 'accidentally' went to Restoran Kar Heong in SS14/2 for Ipoh Ngar Choy Kai which tastes just as good, so no need to go Ipoh can have the same there hehe.
DeleteYou know, Japan has more public holidays than us. ;p
ReplyDeleteBut the people I know there, has significantly less annual leave than us.
Japanese don't take leave...
DeleteTheir life is to work
For me & hubby, today is public holiday from anak.
ReplyDeleteHe's staying overnight at Grandpa's house for two nights.
Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! LOL
That's great to have a holiday! Enjoy your holiday with your hubby fully! :)
Deletelina, great time for you and hubby to ahem ahem ahem.
Deletegrrr...grrrr....grrrr

DeleteSome more today rainy day leh.. Nice day to berkurung. muhahahaha
I got red flag la.... Forced cuti from grrr grrr too much! Wakaka
DeleteJapan has more public holidays? Seriously? I thought they don't celebrate Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and Christmas? What are their holidays? Batang and tetek day? Wait, wait! I know they have special holidays for school sport day!
DeleteWhy the Japanese torture us by still letting us work on Saturdays, I mean my Japanese boss, cheh!
Lina, today whole morning and afternoon wet and wild party, wink! wink!
Red flag....
DeleteCan do lots of others as well
Kakaka....
Happy Thursday everyone!
ReplyDeleteIt's a new year and a new beginning for us Muslims today. It the year 1434 AH.
Tomorrow I go to office and Saturday will be travelling to Penang! Woot! Woot!
I'll force my hubb to bring the family to Penang this weekend and hope to bump into Lina the bunny.
DeleteMalaysia is 7th placing? It should go to top placing for holidays. Which one is top?
ReplyDeleteSK, you said:
ReplyDeletefrankly, it's not really important what day it is, as long as it's a holiday and we can take a break, who cares right??
I say.. not really because if you know the day, you can plan your holiday better. For instance, if it's on a Thurs, you could take Fri day off to make it a 4-day weekend - two extra days to bask on the beach or go uphill to enjoy the cool weather. :p
Some years ago, it was decided that some public holidays be moved to Sat to extend the weekend as well as to reduce business/manufacturing disruption. These include the Sultan of Selangor and Agong's birthday. I think it is still practised today. Not sure about for other states though.
haha that sure is weird sk good thing our government did something that can help us if ever we had holidays like this holidays "no classes or work days" would be move to either monday or sunday but ofcourse if its a general holiday it can be move
ReplyDeletewell i totally agree to you there sk aside to the true meaning of the said holidays it was still the best time to rest and enjoy a particular day
ReplyDeletebut in my case it seems like every day is a holiday haha un employed and does nothing haha i really have to get myseld a living
ReplyDeletehaha im also not updated on event happening around me i dont get out much i remember last week was the feast of our city but i came to know it the night before the event hahaha
ReplyDeletephilippines also has a lot of holidays i dont even know what some of it are for
ReplyDeletemy favorite abd the only holiday i enjoy the most was christmas and iam so excited for it
have a great day sk happy blogging too god bless you always lots of love enjoy the rest of the day and take care
ReplyDeleteI don't ask around about public holidays because my colleagues will be "heboh-ing" in the office. :p
ReplyDeleteI thought we are number 1 in the world? :p
ReplyDeleteYa this week is like a "dream". I think those who are working will feel a bit sien. working alternate days like that. Might as well take leave one whole week. If me I will take the whole week off if the boss allow la.
ReplyDeleteSien la working like that. Like nothing gets done geh.
Pertaining to the writing in the photo. For a moment there my eyes juling. Thought what does that writing says.
first thought is the Illuminity like in the Angels & Demons movie. the writing when read right side up and upside down will read the same.
Finally i baru realised the word is Public Holiday hahahaha....really mong cha cha
ya ..who cares what holiday ...as long as we can have a day off and relax with family.
Deleteapa macam? your homework hand up already ka?
Planning go where overseas for holiday. Going to China ka? LOL
LOL, the guys share the same aim when go holidaying in china, well most of the guys if not all. Annay TM is already enjoying himself there. Hope he no need to crawl to board the plane due to knee gobble, excessive overly used there, kakakaka!
DeleteMalaysia has a lot of public holidays, too bad is my company doesn't really follow the calendar. Some public holiday, we still need to work. Such as Wesak, Thaipusam, Awal Muharam, Nural Al-Quran and etc. So sad, I can't stay home with my kids.
ReplyDelete其實一個星期做四日休三日就最好不過!
