I find it amusing when I see someone with a big slab stuck to one side of the face. You win some, you lose some, I guess.
ReplyDeletekekeke .....that's why am still wondering whether to get Samsung S3 or Note 2. so big leh the note 2. Anyway, kinda weird la see people snap photo using iPad
Deletelol .. that is the trend..
DeleteBigger the better...
everyone love big.. who like small.. kakaka
Like my body, you mean, SP? Big is beautiful...
DeleteMeow, you should check with Annay, he has S3 now. I am also considering S3 or note 2. But my Nokia still in condition. Wait till it die off then only I consider to get a smart phone.
DeleteAnyway, my girls have been complaining that Galaxy Tab is too small for them. They request me to buy them iPad. I am still procastinating to buy it. Kiam Siap mama.
Good morning SK and all! True, it's rather weird to see those people with their iPad taking pictures in public. I use iPad too but only for my food and not to take pictures everywhere. I rather use my camera.
ReplyDeleteya lor. that is what camera is for mah....not i Pad.
DeleteIt's like using paint brush to put one make up.
well, it's the trend nowadays. We just got to tolerate those iPads hanging around.
Deletewhy must we tolerate something that obviously look stupid? Not to mention, can block other's view when it is used? O.O
Deleteshuld be banned during any concert or event.. as it is distrubing and blocking others view.
DeleteGood afternoon, ladies and gentlemen!
DeleteAm missing for 2 days, pre deepavali mood, still enjoying my long holidays as today is my company's shutdown. Hence the slow down in spamming and blog hopping.
I don't agree with using the humongous so called camera in the crowd. Like SK said, it is so clumsy and may risk to slipping from our hand and falls down. I prefer to use camera or phone camera which is smaller and easier to handle.
Plus no need to shopw everyone what we are trying to photograph lah, right? That huge screen - people 100m behind us also can see what's on screen.
DeleteUnless of course, the owner is rabun and needed such a big screen and image to see. kakaka
Yvonne,
So syiok. Loong holiday. I'm at work. Must finish with these dormant accounts. huhuhu
But at least I don't need to come to work on weekends or on the public holidays to finish my job lah. Pay overtime or not. ;)
tak payah orang 10m belakang can see...the one sitting right behind the fella also can see VERY CLEAR. sampai cannot see others. Grrrrr
DeleteI just up loaded the video in my FB...go see la....can see those parents!
Deletelol .. I am getting old le..
Deletewith a big screen can capture the picture easily.. kakakaka... me lou fah .
aiye join the crowd le .. let people say..
the ah beng/ah lian take a big ipad to caprture pictures..
become the center of attraction..
what for stoop to their level one?
DeleteBigger is not necessarily better especially if you cause inconvenience to others.
I sokong you 100%, Lina. That SP's pea-brained mentality...for uneducated Ah Beng, Ah Lian only...or people with a severe case of inferiority complex. I went to a dinner, a lady walked into the banquet hall holding her LV bag...like a bride holding her bouquet. She was the laughing stock, of course... Nobody was impressed!
DeleteGood evening Hamsap people! I am back! I took many photos in Singapore too. I wanted to carry my iPad there but........... Forget it lah ! Have to tuck it in my pants and it will be wet with sweat again.
DeleteI don't see anything wrong using iPad to snap photos since it is an innovative gadget. Just follow the trend lah. Anyway I never bothered to use iPad to snap photos. It is only for blogging!!
DeleteCan snap photo la but not till blocking others la.....like Wenn said snap photo of food or things like that mah
Deletenot go marathon bring that to snap photo. Later blocking the runners or te-jostle by people and jatuh the iPad then siapa susah. then kao beh kao bu ask people to ganti ka?
I don't really mind people taking pictures or videos via iPad. Since it is a feature in iPad. As long as don't block people view. Have to be more considerate to others. I don't mind those people using iPad shooting video from their seats, and zoom in. I hate seeing those people standing up and standing very front using big iPad to snap pictures and videos.
DeleteJust like my girls' school concerts. The principal already warned the audients umpteens times, not to come in front to take pictures and videos. Because the school has hired a professional camera man and video man to do their jobs. But they still many parents ignore the principal's speech. So, all the videos that I got back have big iPad in front. Those parents should see their own iPad in videos.
I need to pay RM20 to buy the video, you know?
Good morning everyone.
ReplyDeletetoday's topic memang manyak ngum leh...
The boy just finish concert last saturday. Really ah.....got some bring these iPad and take photos and video. Me sitting behind them really like "watching" TV" but this TV tune only to one particular channel...the "one" kid. Even me and a friend remarked about it loudly and the person still doesn't takes the hint
I also see the dame thing at my son's school la Meow.
DeleteSome more, the parents who uses them wear this smug look on their face, like so grand to use iPad to take photos.
Come on la... My camera lagi mahal from that iPad. Cheh
i geram coz it's blocking my view leh. Then some more ada yang go stand right in front of the stage. Tak boleh duduk diam. there was two particular family that does that. One family was i think from the siblings to the grandparents also went there .
DeleteThe kiddie tarak liit how many ppl can go. so I think the whole 3 generations went and the whole three generation did something ketelaluan. the teen was staging right in from of the stage most of the time you know. Then the grand pa stand right infront of the school camera. the father or what also does that. I told the father about blocking school camera he gave me nasty look. Bagus la....later his face will be plaster all over the DVD distributed by school
Everywhere, involving the kids - singing, dancing, speech, debat; the parents will be proud and happy. But using iPad is like so showing off that they own the gadget. Er, of course some used Samsung ones.
DeleteAnd they think their child is so special they deserve the whole attention all time and block the rest of the other poor children. These people don't know how to 'share' the view.
These parents are not showing a good example to children. It's like, if you are brash and brazen; you can get away with anything. If people "tegur" you, scold those people and don't act like you are doing anything wrong. :(
DeleteAnd we wonder why our society is like this now and why kids are behaving worse and worse. Learn from their surrounding lah!
tu la...bapak borek anak rintik...
DeleteWell it is not that bad what..
DeleteLet it put it this way.. maybe the some people use the cpad cause they only have this tablet..
maybe the camera or phone's resolution was not that great.. so they use the C-pad..
let us be considerate...
no problem what to use a Cpad to take picture..
hmm I don't do it .. cause I always use my BB phone to take pictures.. and tan sri always say that my pic like kanasai..
SP, that's kinda a silly reasoning la. Sorry ah.
DeleteWhen you want people to be considerate, you also must do the same what. What goes around, comes around.
There is no excuse for being a jerk. :-S
My son DS also can take nice photos and can immediately upload it online too but my 10 year old doesn't go around taking photos or showing off his gadgets at every single opportunity.
DeleteHe also is not allowed to play with it while walking around.
it's called discipline.
Yup! Blackberry photos memang kanasai...iphone's better. Samsung's very good too.
DeleteYeah I use Samsung too and my photos KNN Kanasai la. I blame the photographer! Kakakakakakaka
DeleteI agree with Lina. We already considerate la. Tarak hog the stage or block them but now they are blocking our view and hogging the stage wor. How to swollow. Not only they have kids performing mah. We also have but we guai guai sit down and snap photo.
DeleteSitting behind those people are like watching movie in cinema when the fella infront of you have Ros Ah Mah hair leh
Using iPad, Samsung Tab or whatever also not the root cause. The root cause is those people like to stand in front blocking people view. Moreover they are using those big tablets. If they use phone, it is still not so big and won't block people that much.
DeleteSome lagi bagus....there was an old aunty with a very old handphone...walked right up to the stage to snap photo fher grand kid.
ReplyDeleteI guess another grandpa aor what standing RIGHT in front of the school's camera/video man's tripod to snap photo of his grand kids. Habis la the video kena block by the "invisible man".
tak senang with that, sent the teen kid to stand right in front of the stage and snap photo.
Why la so kiasu....school gng to give DVD also mah.
Even my friend whose kid going to graduate this year also tarak macam tu. just sit guai guai and snap photo using camera from her seat
haiz....but good also la they all crowd around the stage. Maybe when the school distribute the DVD, their children can see how their parents, siblings and grandparents crowding the stage for eternity. now bad, right? inadvertent family event. :p
DeleteYeah... Plenty do that.
DeleteSometimes ah, really want to tell the parents, we who actually have kids perform well at school and nail stage pun tsk kiasu like that. I stand beside the stage and wait for my turn. Never block people. Likewise, the top boy parents also so baik. Very patient and take photos from the side stage only.
Tu la...these ah...standing RIGHT in front of stage.
DeleteI feel salah of the school also. My friend actually said to the Principal to ask parent to sit down. But the principal also tarak make any announcement.
The school at least should enforce that la. ask the parents to sit down and dont worry as the school will distrubte DVD. Ni tidak. I think she takut parents angry or what. Hilang $$ mah. grrrr or maybe she just too nice
Some people will do just that with their cameras. They will stand right in front of the stage and block the others behind. In that case, I have to put my camera way above my head. So as to get those pictures on the stage.
Deletethat's why am so angry la. Other also have kids ma. Why their kids extra special or what?
DeleteMy friend's whose kid was graduating his year also guai guai sit there and snap photo instead of kiasu go stand right infront of the stage.
the school also one kind. SHould have stress parents should remain seated.
Those DVD that you got later sure not nice, Meow. Sure can see lots of iPad, iPhone and so on.
DeleteMy girls principal is better, she told the audients many times. But no one was listening.
am wondering....is ipad video quality will be better than normal camera or video camera quality? is that why so many people bring ipad and snap photo and make video? or is it just easier? everything in ipad then go home o need download and strat can upload into the FB, Youtube or what ever social media channel? if like that i also wanna be bad la and kiasu
ReplyDeleteMeow, now also got camera like that already. Got wi-fi capability and you can share your photos and download them immediately one. No need to carry that large screen around.
Deleteya ka? I didnt know. I only know got gps la the camera. My new one got gps. kekeke.
DeleteNow am still trying to upload the concert video kakakaka...but youtube very slow la....kakaka
iPad photos can be edited easily and instagram it immediately too. That's why people like it very much.
Deleteuse smartphone la... At least it's smaller and much easier to hold.
Deleteat last performance every parents also went tothe stage. i also geram...i also go la...but i stand at the side like you la Lina. Lucky J position was at the side so i can snap video lor.
Deletepussy cat know you get the point..
Deletesome people also not so rich like you..
can get special camera to take pictures..
Own iPad but cannot buy a dinky RM500 camera? Yeah, right....
DeleteGood point, Lina! That SP, I wonder if things go through his brain before he spills them out.... Tsk! Tsk!
DeleteYeah lah that Pussy Kaldip's wife damn rich tai tai.....
DeleteiPad is more expensive than some camera . An iPad or those Galaxy thingy already more expensive than my camera la
DeleteNot really, Meow, my Nokia can take very good video, if they allow me to go in front of the stage too. I am serious here. I used to use my Nokia to take video one. Very clear one. Problem is the distance only. So, if giving a chance to go very front from the stage, I could get nice and clear video with my Nokia too. No need iPad la!
DeleteI always see people with iPad taking photos at running events. Granted, they didn't carry it around while running but wouldn't a smaller and more convenient gadget be more suitable? Ever heard about a camera, folks? Or a handphone?
ReplyDeletethat is why la....i also pelik...running even bring iPad? later fall down rosak how? Takpe la they all rich hahahaha....atuh can buy some more, right?
Deleteif really rich, buy DSLR la. At least people will respect
DeleteI'm worried that the iPad might just slip from their hands and that's it! Not safe to use iPad at crowded places too.
Deleteif iPad slip and broke i will be the first evil person that will laugh the loudest. siapa suruh kiasu go right to the stage and blocking the view like that
Deleteif beli camera no duit to beli cpad..
Deletesome ppl use a lousy phone le..
I know you're talking about me, SP!!! Tsk! Tsk! What to do? Not everybody's rich like you mah...
DeleteBiar not up to date with the latest gadget but up to date in being a considerate human being, right Arthur Oppa? ^_^
DeleteYes, yes!!! What for show off, flaunting your wealth...when what people see is the ugly side of you.
DeleteRight you go Lina!
DeleteI agree with lina and Arthur 100% here. Well said. I have no smart phone at the moment. When I forget to bring my camera (Sony Digial camera only), I will use my Nokia to take pictures.
DeleteMorning, SK! Morning, everybody! People doing that brings to mind...Moses holding up one slab of the 10 Commandments.
ReplyDeleteDon't they realise that they actually look so ridiculous doing that? I would feel shy lah...doing that in public. Wouldn't dare to take it out... But some people are like that, I guess... Too blur to think about how silly they would appear...
ReplyDeleteBut I'm sure he didn't use that to take pictures or videos of his kids at kindie graduation. Oops! Couldn't help it.
ReplyDeleteOr did he? LOL
Oh! This comment is linked to STP's about Moses' slab of 10 Commandments.

Wah, Bananaz... Your joke siap ada disclaimer one! LOL
DeleteLina have too be extremely careful boleh jadi sensitive saat ni kena marah pulak
DeleteWakakakaka! This Bananaz damn funny always.
DeleteGood morning everybody! In bringing a camera along Bananaz would think it is a hassle & too cumbersome, jeans pocket too small to contain, leceh to hang at the waist belt and very often someone will make lots of noise in the end..Mango's handbag of course. If carry the iPad along? No way, that can never ever happen.
ReplyDeleteI also nnever understand why some people need to look at their iPad screen ALL the time even while walking!
ReplyDeleteSo busy meh?
The game or whatever he/she is staring on the screen is more important to him/her than their safety or of others?
Later bumped into people, iPad jatuh. Padan muka la!
tak payah bump into people....terpijak lubang on the road dah cukup nyah. :p
DeleteMany people have forgotten to be humble. May people tend to show off many luxury gadgets, such as phones, tablets, handbags, big cameras and also cars.
DeleteWhen there are too many of this type of people, I like to be different. I like to live very down to earth. I feel proud and content with all that I have at this moment.
haha this is quite prone lately ive seen a lot using such device as their camera haha its quite weird looking
ReplyDeletewell if this can take pretty good picture why bother buy a real camera
ReplyDeletehaha i mean being practical isnt bad at all
in my case my mom has a very loud ring tone its quite a shame whenever we are out and her phone rings haha everyone would hear it and stare at us
ReplyDeletebut i guess the weirdest thing ive seen so far is this guy who uses a portable dvd as his music player
ReplyDeletehe was carrying that proudly while walking across street
i dont have a camera of my own im just borrowing my cousin's ipod to take some shots haha well i really got to get a job to get my self a camera of my own
ReplyDeletehave a great day and happy bloggin sk god bless you and take care always
ReplyDeleteThis is really common nowadays :P
ReplyDelete遲啲見怪不怪既啦...
ReplyDeleteAt first glance I thought the above photo was Yvonne taking photos. It looks like her back!!
ReplyDeleteOh! So they are not ghosts?! What a letdown! LOL!
ReplyDeleteTaking photos with anything bigger than an iPhone (except camera) is considered silly for me hahaha!!
ReplyDeleteSO yes, taking photos with Samsung Galaxy Note is silly! LOL
ReplyDeleteBut your personal opinion is very offending to those using the iPad to take photos : D
ReplyDeleteI didn't think of it, until Annay said the lady looks like Yvonne, yes, 80% alike I can confirm that. The hair and the back are so alike her. Especially the pony tail of her.
ReplyDelete所以我到今時今日都對呢個pad冇興趣。
ReplyDelete
