[Volume 7 Issue 11, #1596]
don't be scared off by the defaced in the photos, they are human and not spirits but i "borrowed" the photos from friends, i think i should mask all the faces for their privacy reason.. the focus should be placed on those uPad, don't you think using both hands to carry such a humungous thing to take a photo is rather weird?? hmmm, i really have no idea how to precisely elaborate in details, it's just the gut feeling that this is quite clumsy and "idiotic".. just like you are using a cellphone as huge as a brick, can't hear clearly and then shouting "hello! hello! can you hear me? can you hear me?" loudly at the phone, that's bizarre right?? strictly my personal opinion and no offending discrimination at all..

    2. well, it's the trend nowadays. We just got to tolerate those iPads hanging around.

    3. why must we tolerate something that obviously look stupid? Not to mention, can block other's view when it is used? O.O

    4. shuld be banned during any concert or event.. as it is distrubing and blocking others view.

    5. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen!

Am missing for 2 days, pre deepavali mood, still enjoying my long holidays as today is my company's shutdown. Hence the slow down in spamming and blog hopping.

I don't agree with using the humongous so called camera in the crowd. Like SK said, it is so clumsy and may risk to slipping from our hand and falls down. I prefer to use camera or phone camera which is smaller and easier to handle.

    6. Plus no need to shopw everyone what we are trying to photograph lah, right? That huge screen - people 100m behind us also can see what's on screen.

Unless of course, the owner is rabun and needed such a big screen and image to see. kakaka

      Yvonne,
So syiok. Loong holiday. I'm at work. Must finish with these dormant accounts. huhuhu

But at least I don't need to come to work on weekends or on the public holidays to finish my job lah. Pay overtime or not. ;)

I went to a dinner, a lady walked into the banquet hall holding her LV bag...like a bride holding her bouquet. She was the laughing stock, of course... Nobody was impressed!

    13. I don't see anything wrong using iPad to snap photos since it is an innovative gadget. Just follow the trend lah. Anyway I never bothered to use iPad to snap photos. It is only for blogging!!

      Delete
    14. Can snap photo la but not till blocking others la.....like Wenn said snap photo of food or things like that mah

not go marathon bring that to snap photo. Later blocking the runners or te-jostle by people and jatuh the iPad then siapa susah. then kao beh kao bu ask people to ganti ka?

    15. I don't really mind people taking pictures or videos via iPad. Since it is a feature in iPad. As long as don't block people view. Have to be more considerate to others. I don't mind those people using iPad shooting video from their seats, and zoom in. I hate seeing those people standing up and standing very front using big iPad to snap pictures and videos.

Just like my girls' school concerts. The principal already warned the audients umpteens times, not to come in front to take pictures and videos. Because the school has hired a professional camera man and video man to do their jobs. But they still many parents ignore the principal's speech. So, all the videos that I got back have big iPad in front. Those parents should see their own iPad in videos.

I need to pay RM20 to buy the video, you know?

  3. Good morning everyone.

today's topic memang manyak ngum leh...

The boy just finish concert last saturday. Really ah.....got some bring these iPad and take photos and video. Me sitting behind them really like "watching" TV" but this TV tune only to one particular channel...the "one" kid. Even me and a friend remarked about it loudly and the person still doesn't takes the hint

    1. I also see the dame thing at my son's school la Meow.

Some more, the parents who uses them wear this smug look on their face, like so grand to use iPad to take photos.

Come on la... My camera lagi mahal from that iPad. Cheh

      Delete
    2. i geram coz it's blocking my view leh. Then some more ada yang go stand right in front of the stage. Tak boleh duduk diam. there was two particular family that does that. One family was i think from the siblings to the grandparents also went there .

The kiddie tarak liit how many ppl can go. so I think the whole 3 generations went and the whole three generation did something ketelaluan. the teen was staging right in from of the stage most of the time you know. Then the grand pa stand right infront of the school camera. the father or what also does that. I told the father about blocking school camera he gave me nasty look. Bagus la....later his face will be plaster all over the DVD distributed by school

    3. Everywhere, involving the kids - singing, dancing, speech, debat; the parents will be proud and happy. But using iPad is like so showing off that they own the gadget. Er, of course some used Samsung ones.

And they think their child is so special they deserve the whole attention all time and block the rest of the other poor children. These people don't know how to 'share' the view.

      Delete
    4. These parents are not showing a good example to children. It's like, if you are brash and brazen; you can get away with anything. If people "tegur" you, scold those people and don't act like you are doing anything wrong. :(

And we wonder why our society is like this now and why kids are behaving worse and worse. Learn from their surrounding lah!

    6. Well it is not that bad what..
Let it put it this way.. maybe the some people use the cpad cause they only have this tablet..
maybe the camera or phone's resolution was not that great.. so they use the C-pad..
      let us be considerate...
no problem what to use a Cpad to take picture..
hmm I don't do it .. cause I always use my BB phone to take pictures.. and tan sri always say that my pic like kanasai..

      Delete
    7. SP, that's kinda a silly reasoning la. Sorry ah.

When you want people to be considerate, you also must do the same what. What goes around, comes around.

There is no excuse for being a jerk. :-S

    8. My son DS also can take nice photos and can immediately upload it online too but my 10 year old doesn't go around taking photos or showing off his gadgets at every single opportunity.

He also is not allowed to play with it while walking around.

      it's called discipline.

    9. Yup! Blackberry photos memang kanasai...iphone's better. Samsung's very good too.

    11. I agree with Lina. We already considerate la. Tarak hog the stage or block them but now they are blocking our view and hogging the stage wor. How to swollow. Not only they have kids performing mah. We also have but we guai guai sit down and snap photo.

Sitting behind those people are like watching movie in cinema when the fella infront of you have Ros Ah Mah hair leh

      Delete
    12. Using iPad, Samsung Tab or whatever also not the root cause. The root cause is those people like to stand in front blocking people view. Moreover they are using those big tablets. If they use phone, it is still not so big and won't block people that much.

      Delete
  4. Some lagi bagus....there was an old aunty with a very old handphone...walked right up to the stage to snap photo fher grand kid.

I guess another grandpa aor what standing RIGHT in front of the school's camera/video man's tripod to snap photo of his grand kids. Habis la the video kena block by the "invisible man".

tak senang with that, sent the teen kid to stand right in front of the stage and snap photo.

Why la so kiasu....school gng to give DVD also mah.

Even my friend whose kid going to graduate this year also tarak macam tu. just sit guai guai and snap photo using camera from her seat

    1. haiz....but good also la they all crowd around the stage. Maybe when the school distribute the DVD, their children can see how their parents, siblings and grandparents crowding the stage for eternity. now bad, right? inadvertent family event. :p

      Delete
    2. Yeah... Plenty do that.

Sometimes ah, really want to tell the parents, we who actually have kids perform well at school and nail stage pun tsk kiasu like that. I stand beside the stage and wait for my turn. Never block people. Likewise, the top boy parents also so baik. Very patient and take photos from the side stage only.

      Delete
    3. Tu la...these ah...standing RIGHT in front of stage.

I feel salah of the school also. My friend actually said to the Principal to ask parent to sit down. But the principal also tarak make any announcement.

The school at least should enforce that la. ask the parents to sit down and dont worry as the school will distrubte DVD. Ni tidak. I think she takut parents angry or what. Hilang $$ mah. grrrr or maybe she just too nice

      Delete
    4. Some people will do just that with their cameras. They will stand right in front of the stage and block the others behind. In that case, I have to put my camera way above my head. So as to get those pictures on the stage.

      Delete
    5. that's why am so angry la. Other also have kids ma. Why their kids extra special or what?

My friend's whose kid was graduating his year also guai guai sit there and snap photo instead of kiasu go stand right infront of the stage.

the school also one kind. SHould have stress parents should remain seated.

Problem is the distance only. So, if giving a chance to go very front from the stage, I could get nice and clear video with my Nokia too. No need iPad la!

If carry the iPad along? No way, that can never ever happen.
