印象中嘅農曆新年係天氣炎熱, 從來都唔會落雨嘅, 不過今年(應該)係我生平第一次落雨嘅新年.. 人哋話今年係水龍年, 所以帶來雨水.. 都好嘅, 天降甘露呀, 涼涼嘅天氣仲得人歡心啦.. 而且重要係水為財, 大家今年一定發發發呀, 哈哈!! :D
i have the expectation that the weather is very hot during CNY and it never rain during the period, but this year is a little different and perhaps the first rainy CNY for me.. people say it's the year of the water dragon hence it brings more rain.. good though, at least the cooling weather is more likeable and more importantly water symbolizes prosperity, so everyone will sure HUAT a lot this year, haha!! :D

      haiyoh, then i think only central peninsular is raining.. but today ok, no raining.. ytday and the day before, it was raining int he evening..

    Yuppie! Cool as cucumber almost wanted to wear jacket at my place. Normal days with singlet its hot but yesterday gotta wear T shirt temperature just nice. Water is 'cai'. Huat Ah!

    Over here, hot in the morning and afternoon and raining at night..but today still no sign of rain yet.. at least the weather is not as bad as the previous years.. .

      oh yes!! exactly the same here.. for the past two days hot in the day and then raining in the evening.. but today is nice weather, cooling but no rain.. maybe tomorrow?? :p

    I was sweating like a pig during "pai nee" - getting into the car, coming out from the car, visiting relatives and friends, then get back into the car.

    These repeated process, plus the nagging on children to move their butt faster had me soaking in my own sweat by the end of the day!

    今年的除夕就开始下雨，有点意外。
    虽然有下一点雨，大部分时间还是挺热的。

      不是過去幾年, 印象中每一年都是很熱的, 就是今年好像隔天就有下雨.. 可能是水龍的關係吧? 呵呵..

      yeah, it rained during this CNY and i was a bit surprised.. cos all the time CNY is supposed to be hot.. well, the water dragon brings the rain, and good to cool down the weather also.. :)

    But this is not the first time it rained during CNY. Happened many times for me already. And I was even expecting it to happen this year though I almost gave up hope seeing how hot it was the last few days before CNY!

    The freak storm hit KL on the 3rd day of CNY! I was away for a day trip to Kampar when the storm lashed my area.

    Thanks to Facebook, some fellas alerted me that the storm was terrible in my area. Later friends sms me that I should not come home yet as trees fell on every street and many lamp posts were uprooted. It was chaotic!

    The lightning struck my house and kena blackout. My modem spoilt. 1 dustbin outside my home was blown away to faraway! Yikes! Luckily I had lights like normal when I returned at midnight. Many homes had no electricity for 2 days!

    According to Feng Shui experts, the hilly patch where my house sits is a trail of the dragon's nest and the peak of the hill is the dragon's nest! Tan Sri Liew of Setia group lives there atop!. So kaya fella.
