true that. Unless enforcement are done to ensure the bus follows the schedule, it will just be a "white elephant" :P
ReplyDeleteNice to have stuff won't have effect if there is non existence of must have attitude.
ReplyDeletehopefully it works..
ReplyDeleteIt's just an excuse to give out contracts to cronies. Don't you think so?
ReplyDeleteWhen do our public transport ever been on time?
Before they install all these money wasting gadgets, they should improve on how to discipline the drivers first and get the public transport to be on time! @.@
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday morning, SK! ;)
ReplyDeleteI suppose the intent of this is to give the public a guide as to the times - which is a good thing. Timeliness is not part of the board game(?)
ReplyDeleteYou are so observant, SK. Thanks for keeping us updated.
Btw, I like your new comment column. The independent Reply feature is cool. Is it Blogger's?
ReplyDelete@Isaac Tanenforcement, what a nice term!! but i don't think this word ever exist in our public transport dictionary!! haha~~ :D
ReplyDelete@Sheoh Yanyeah, definitely a nice thing to see, and for the cronies to earn more commission huh?? i wonder if our fares will be increased because of this??
ReplyDelete@wennit sure will work, just how reliable and useful~~ :D
ReplyDelete@linahahaha!! give me five!! i totally agree with you!! without new projects or contracts, there is no income for them~~ :D
ReplyDelete@linawell, we all know the reason behind everything that was done!! you have just mentioned that in your comment above.. haiz!! they don't care, because they are not the one who suffer..
ReplyDelete@HappySurferwhat is the purpose of spending that money when the schedule will never match with the display?? it is just so ironic the time of arrival is blinking and yet you are still waiting for another 30 minutes before the supposed-to-arrived bus arrives..
ReplyDelete@HappySurferyeah, i like this too.. it's developed by somebody with some extra javascripts.. not really a perfect one but i like it simple.. you can go to this website for the installation instruction, it's easy!!

@linahad my early weekend class today, and after lunch i feel so sleepy now!! huhuhu~~
ReplyDeleteNice board and it wont be exact sharp time to let the bus get in time also . . .
ReplyDeletewah new comment setting? lol I just realize the comment when right below the comment box :)
ReplyDeleteInstallation of this kind of board may help some people know the timing and got self preparation to GG only ok haha
ReplyDelete@Kian Fai Kohhaha, that's why can only say it's something "nice" but not something "useful" right?? so not unnecessary~~ :p
ReplyDelete@Kian Fai Kohyalah, i want something that can reply individually, but don't want sign-up for disqus or commentluv or intense debate, so put in this javascript lor.. :)
ReplyDelete@Kian Fai Koherrr, maybe telling us the bus arriving in 5 minutes, but after waiting for another 30 minutes, still cannot see the bus coming lor!! this will be 90% the possibility~~ hahaha!! :D
ReplyDeleteOh, they got this high tech electronic gadget at bus station? Like airport, huh?
ReplyDeleteHaven't been to any bus station long enough... Didn't know how they turn out now....
ReplyDeleteThe last ride on KL pink bus gave me nightmares.
That's mean not only their driving skill suck, the schedule is the same - messy and not puncture.
ReplyDelete$$$ useless investment, lol!
ReplyDeletewaste of $$$
ReplyDeleteHeya SK.. here I am from my "No when to Blog Hop" routine LOL
ReplyDeleteOh Lucky you guys you have this high tech gadget,... we, we don't have any ... sigh what a shame for us LOL
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of corrupt officials here and all they know is to use the country's money for their own sake
ReplyDeleteanyway, as for me I think there are more useful and senseful projects that our government should prioritize other than putting high end gadgets like this...
ReplyDeleteOh is that you on the header?? you have a tattoo?? me I want to get one too.. is it really painful? maybe i should go for a hena first LOL
ReplyDeleteAfter a while sure rosak and no maintenance lah....
ReplyDeletehahaha... 。。
ReplyDeleteWow not bad! Got a bit of improvement, although I'm like you, doubtful that it's FUNCTIONAL .. maybe just for show :P Let's all see!
This countermeasure is been rejected。
In company with ISO certified always deal with
all kind of "countermeasure" and I believe preventive action is needed....
@yvonnejust a gadget there but not functioning at all, haha!! :D
ReplyDelete@yvonneerrr, i rarely go to bus station also lah, was taking the free shuttle to MV from Bangsar so saw this thing there, thought it was interesting lor~~ :)
ReplyDelete@yvonneyou are right!! i've no comments to their driving skills but their driving attitude, no comments on the schedule but the reliability~~ haiz!!
ReplyDelete@yvonnehaiyah, waste the people's money so that those people can earn more money lor..
ReplyDelete@Medie007what to say?? we are in a land that waste the people's money so that some people can earn more money lor..
ReplyDelete@Casendra
ReplyDelete@Peteexactly!! that's the problem, they only introduce new things (to earn money) but never (spend money to) maintain things!! sad~~
ReplyDelete@iamthewitcherrr, it's nice to see that thing, but let's wait and see, perhaps just working for the first 3 months, then out of order and left it unmaintained there~~
ReplyDelete@bluedreamer27errr, it's just something there not functioning yet.. well it looks impressive but i doubt the usefulness and reliability of that thing though..
ReplyDelete@bluedreamer27oh, i think we have the same problem here.. so sad right??
ReplyDelete@bluedreamer27in my opinion, be it high tech or low tech, i think more importantly is to solve the problem from the root cause.. any superfluous solution will never help at all.. there should be long term strategic planning and management in all projects they undertake..
ReplyDelete@bluedreamer27haha, you are really observant!! yeah, that was me, the tattoo is a fake one, it faded off two weeks later, hahahaha~~
ReplyDelete@bluedreamer27hahaha, hope you will drop by more often!! or else your ranking will sure gone~~ :p
ReplyDeleteWah! The electronic gadget looks impressive! : )
ReplyDeleteI seldom go to bus stations so need you to update me on this! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteYeah, if the transport system is so messy, how much can this electronic gadget help? Good luck to all commuters! Haha!
ReplyDeleteaiya....else where they can waste money wor
ReplyDeleteput up useless things lor
ReplyDeleteBtw, is it true ah now all bus using touch and go only? No more put money?
ReplyDeleteI never realised these schedule boards are not reliable!! Thambee you are so observant always & fault finding!! Muahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteI wish that I could commute by LRT to everywhere without using my car but I cannot! Our LRT routes are so limited!!
ReplyDeleteI always thought these signboards are reliable like airport Departure/Arrival Schedule...maybe this is expected in Malaysia.
