wrote a post about pyjamas last week, though i don't draw a clear line between pyjamas and "house clothes", i am very particular about what i wear at home should never be what i wear out of the house!! i don't require myself to dress up glamorously, but at least if i go out, i will make sure i am neat and tidy, and definitely not going to be in a i-am-going-to-bed-soon look with pyjamas on me.. it's really an "honour" to see the above pyjamas fans in the street (especially the lady in the center wearing leather shoes with pyjamas who walks so "attitudely"), i really want to give a big clap and salute to them~~ @_@ |

No way bro...
ReplyDeleteOver my dead body or rather over my bananaz skin..would ever see me in any of these. Never wore any of those except for the one time during the 'hair raising ceremony'.
ReplyDeleteEeee... so comfy and confident ah, to walk around in PJs like that?
ReplyDeleteMyself, no way! And I look at any people wearing them in public one kind one.
ReplyDeleteI don't even allow my son wear pyjamas if we go out at night!
Haha!! No way I am going to go out of the house in my pyjamas unless there's an unexpected sudden earthquake!
ReplyDeleteEven then, I won't be in pyjamas cos I sleep naked remember? Hahaha!!
ReplyDeleteI really think people should limit pyjamas to home wear or bed time wear. But then again, who am I to tel others what to wear and not to wear? It's a free world! LOL!
ReplyDeleteMaybe if Lady Gaga starts wearing pyjamas, the trend will catch up quickly. And those who don't wear pyjamas outside their homes will be considered outdated. Haha!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend and remember to wear your pyjamas before going to bed! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteno pyjamas outside the house..very improper..
ReplyDeleteits the trend after them watching stephen chow's 'kung fu'..
ReplyDeletea sexy fashion trend set by the 包租婆 ;p
hahha! no no. not going to wear pyjamas at outside!! LOL
ReplyDeleteeven tho its just a walking distance market near my place, i will make sure myself get changed before go out!! LOL even for just a min.
ReplyDeletehahaha!! wearing pyjamas n matched with leather shoe!? @.@ dats really fuhney to me!! xD
ReplyDeleten i think ppl at here will laugh at ppl who wear pyjamas at outside lor! =.= unless u're still a kid! :p
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be the norm here. I don't, but whatever works for others... My concern is more for the dirt/dust one brings to the bed.
ReplyDeleteAt least the lady has her bra on, I think. Hey, maybe that's her daywear..
SK, cool that you are matching my result on the personality quizzes. Two weeks running now, and counting.
Btw, SK, have you gone to McD for the 2 free breakfast? You can access the link to the voucher from my site, wor. Offer is only until Mar 31, so hurry!
ReplyDeleteyou should see my FIL wearing sarong to pasar LOL
ReplyDeleteI won't mind if the public pajama parade was done for the fun of it, and must be a group effort ;)
ReplyDelete+Ant+
haha.....very funny le!
ReplyDeleteHahaha :D I don't think I mind wearing these pyjamas out. :p
ReplyDeleteSometimes I only clad in singlet and shorts when I am outside. :p
ReplyDeleteI think it doesn't matter what you put on as long as you are not scantily clad. :p
ReplyDeleteSK Thambee, you always ran naked in the slums of Chennai. That's when Kamala spotted your little kuku-chiao!
ReplyDeleteYou were shameless and didn't know was pyjamas! LOL
ReplyDeleteOutside,I always wear shorts with polo T-shirt or singlets whenever possible ... Malaysia is hot like hell...!
ReplyDeleteThose photos you posted look like China's folks. The villagers don't give a damn.
ReplyDeleteSo now Thambee deh wear nothing except a white Dothi at home and Kamala loves it nia...
ReplyDeletei was told a couple of times the broadshorts that i wear to town is like a pyjamas. =.="
ReplyDeletethis is still applicable in certain villages on the outskirts of town where i work. of cos outside pyjamas r newer than the ones they wear at home
ReplyDeleteNo way... I definitely will not wear any pyjamas on the street. I don't wear pyjamas to sleep :p
ReplyDeleteWear pyjamas, can sleep everywhere lah.....in LRT, in bus, in taxi.....ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they carry toothbrush oso?...LOL!
Haha Pete great thinking. You are saying wearing pyjamas is like a licence to sleep? Then can wear to all meetings especially AGM, BOD "Bored of Direction" meetings...etc etc muahaha.
ReplyDeleteI wore that and walked in my pajamas before er.. 45 years ago.. hahha...
ReplyDelete@ Bananazஇ:
ReplyDeletehahahaha, you seem like very reluctant to wear any pyjamas bro.. so that was the one and only time you've every wore one??
@ lina:
haha, those are from mainland china i guess.. well, maybe to them this is some kind of fashion?? haha.. of course for me, never ever will do that definitely..
@ foongpc:
ReplyDeletehehehehe, so you sleep naked?? ooopss, so when there's an earthquake then you will be running out naked?? wow, what a view, haha.. hmmmm, Lady Gaga to bring the pyjamas fashion?? hey, i think very possibly one day, and then everyone will be doing that on the street!! but definitely not me as i won't be following the fashion blindly..
@ wenn:
yeah, pyjamas is only meant for the bedroom, or the most within the house only..
@ Danny:
ReplyDeleteerrr, i think 包租婆 didn't set the trend, but just to follow the trend in mainland china lor.. anyway, she's really a classic~~
@ Caroline Ng May Ling:
yeah, never will i wear any pyjamas to go out at all.. anyway, if very near walking distance outside my house, i still wear my "house clothes" but not pyjamas lor.. haha, yeah, very funny right?? pyjamas with leather shoes, hahaha~~ that's very wrong.. :D
@ HappySurfer:
ReplyDeleteyeah, i think maybe in small town there are still people wearing their pyjamas running around the village.. but for me, definitely not, that's quite improper though.. errr, i'm not really interested for the McD free breakfast, as i still need to spend RM5 minimum.. if free then just give away free without any conditions right?? :p
@ Small Kucing:
hahaha, but then sarong is one type of the malay traditional costume mah, not right??
@ Gratitude:
ReplyDeletewell, the only reason to wear your pyjamas outside of your house is when there's a pyjamas party or parade~~ :p
@ mNhL:
yeah, that's actually quite amusing to see pyjamas on the street..
@ Tekkaus:
ReplyDeletewell, if within very near walking distance outside my house, i will wear my worn-out "house clothes", too lazy to get a change.. but never pyjamas lah, at least house clothes still not pyjamas right?? haha..
@ Twilight:
haiyah, no lah, running around naked in the slum was more than 30 years ago when Thambee was still a kid.. remember Arumugam also did the same thing together with Thambee mah, that's when Letchumi fell in love with Arumugam when she saw your KKC, hahaha!!! yeah, i think those are in mainland china, maybe that's a trend of them to wear pyjamas to the street~~ :D
@ Medie007:
ReplyDeletehaha, so are you still wearing that pair of broadshorts out?? OMG, better not do that again lah~~ :D
@ Bengbeng:
yeah, i guess this is still quite a "trend" in small town and village.. hahaha!! so they really have two sets of pyjamas?? one for home and one for going out?? *faint*
@ TZ:
ReplyDeletehahaha, that's actually smart.. we just wear normal clothes to sleep, and we can still wear the same thing to go out, hahaha~~
@ Pete:
haha, maybe you are right?? they are wearing something they feel most comfortable with.. and after sleeping in LRT, bus and taxi.. straight away they can go to bed after reach home~~ :D
@ Bananazஇ:
ReplyDeletehaha, maybe Pete has his own way of thinking.. and it make sense if they wake up early to go out for some chores and plan to go back to sleep later.. why bother to change at all?? haha~~ :D
@ bluecloud:
@ edward:
@ reanaclaire:
hahaha, maybe that time you were in your small village?? i think i did that before lah, inside the kampung nobody will bother~~ :D
Wait... is this a trend now? I definitely wear my pyjamas outdoor if they were from major designers - Marc Jacob, Vera Wang... kekeke. Otherwise, better keep it in the house.
ReplyDeletehaha, i would like to see those pyjamas on the street too.. is or was that a trend?? haha
ReplyDeletedefinitely i won't wear my pyjamas outside my house.. unless it's on a purpose, eg: pyjamas party or parade..
ReplyDeletewell, i guess those photos are people in mainland china right?? as i know, rarely see people like that in KL, other small kampung maybe still have..
ReplyDeleteI never put on pyjamas out of the house but I can't remember when I was little ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL, what a way to attract people's attention!
Oh nope, lucky i will never wear pyjamas when i go out.
ReplyDeletethe second photos is look funny, he or she?
I guess they are from china right?
ReplyDeletehehehe
@ Yvonne:
ReplyDeletehaha, even if those pyjamas are from Marc Jacobs and Vera Wang, i still won't wear them outside.. unless one day Lady Gaga makes the trend, haha!! :D
@ victor:
yeah, it will be quite amusing to see people wearing pyjamas on the street right?? haha, i guess you are right, maybe not in KL but those small town there are still people doing that.. :)
@ Dora:
ReplyDeleteyeah, i definitely will not do this but cannot remember if my mum made me do that when i was a kid, haha!! :D
@ Alice Law:
yeah, that's actually a way to attract attention from people.. wonder why Lady Gaga hasn't done that yet?? :D
@ imyuyu:
@ Ashley:
@ CH Voon:
haha, yalor now of course never, but i cannot remember if i did that when i was a kid.. haha, second one is auntie lah, so funny right?? they are from china i guess..
