wrote a post about pyjamas last week, though i don't draw a clear line between pyjamas and "house clothes", i am very particular about what i wear at home should never be what i wear out of the house!!

i don't require myself to dress up glamorously, but at least if i go out, i will make sure i am neat and tidy, and definitely not going to be in a i-am-going-to-bed-soon look with pyjamas on me.. it's really an "honour" to see the above pyjamas fans in the street (especially the lady in the center wearing leather shoes with pyjamas who walks so "attitudely"), i really want to give a big clap and salute to them~~ @_@

  1. Over my dead body or rather over my bananaz skin..would ever see me in any of these. Never wore any of those except for the one time during the 'hair raising ceremony'.

  6. I really think people should limit pyjamas to home wear or bed time wear. But then again, who am I to tel others what to wear and not to wear? It's a free world! LOL!

  7. Maybe if Lady Gaga starts wearing pyjamas, the trend will catch up quickly. And those who don't wear pyjamas outside their homes will be considered outdated. Haha!!

  15. It seems to be the norm here. I don't, but whatever works for others... My concern is more for the dirt/dust one brings to the bed.

At least the lady has her bra on, I think. Hey, maybe that's her daywear..

SK, cool that you are matching my result on the personality quizzes. Two weeks running now, and counting.

    ReplyDelete

  23. SK Thambee, you always ran naked in the slums of Chennai. That's when Kamala spotted your little kuku-chiao!

    ReplyDelete

  26. Those photos you posted look like China's folks. The villagers don't give a damn.

    ReplyDelete

  28. i was told a couple of times the broadshorts that i wear to town is like a pyjamas. =.="

    ReplyDelete
  29. this is still applicable in certain villages on the outskirts of town where i work. of cos outside pyjamas r newer than the ones they wear at home

    ReplyDelete

  31. Wear pyjamas, can sleep everywhere lah.....in LRT, in bus, in taxi.....ha ha ha!

I wonder if they carry toothbrush oso?...LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Haha Pete great thinking. You are saying wearing pyjamas is like a licence to sleep? Then can wear to all meetings especially AGM, BOD "Bored of Direction" meetings...etc etc muahaha.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  35. I wore that and walked in my pajamas before er.. 45 years ago.. hahha...

    ReplyDelete
  36. @ Bananazஇ:
hahahaha, you seem like very reluctant to wear any pyjamas bro.. so that was the one and only time you've every wore one??

    @ lina:
haha, those are from mainland china i guess.. well, maybe to them this is some kind of fashion?? haha.. of course for me, never ever will do that definitely..

    ReplyDelete
  37. @ foongpc:
hehehehe, so you sleep naked?? ooopss, so when there's an earthquake then you will be running out naked?? wow, what a view, haha.. hmmmm, Lady Gaga to bring the pyjamas fashion?? hey, i think very possibly one day, and then everyone will be doing that on the street!! but definitely not me as i won't be following the fashion blindly..

    @ wenn:
yeah, pyjamas is only meant for the bedroom, or the most within the house only..

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ Danny:
errr, i think 包租婆 didn't set the trend, but just to follow the trend in mainland china lor.. anyway, she's really a classic~~

    @ Caroline Ng May Ling:
yeah, never will i wear any pyjamas to go out at all.. anyway, if very near walking distance outside my house, i still wear my "house clothes" but not pyjamas lor.. haha, yeah, very funny right?? pyjamas with leather shoes, hahaha~~ that's very wrong.. :D

    ReplyDelete
  39. @ HappySurfer:
yeah, i think maybe in small town there are still people wearing their pyjamas running around the village.. but for me, definitely not, that's quite improper though.. errr, i'm not really interested for the McD free breakfast, as i still need to spend RM5 minimum.. if free then just give away free without any conditions right?? :p

    @ Small Kucing:
hahaha, but then sarong is one type of the malay traditional costume mah, not right??

    ReplyDelete
  40. @ Gratitude:
well, the only reason to wear your pyjamas outside of your house is when there's a pyjamas party or parade~~ :p

    @ mNhL:
yeah, that's actually quite amusing to see pyjamas on the street..

    ReplyDelete
  41. @ Tekkaus:
well, if within very near walking distance outside my house, i will wear my worn-out "house clothes", too lazy to get a change.. but never pyjamas lah, at least house clothes still not pyjamas right?? haha..

    @ Twilight:
haiyah, no lah, running around naked in the slum was more than 30 years ago when Thambee was still a kid.. remember Arumugam also did the same thing together with Thambee mah, that's when Letchumi fell in love with Arumugam when she saw your KKC, hahaha!!! yeah, i think those are in mainland china, maybe that's a trend of them to wear pyjamas to the street~~ :D

    ReplyDelete
  42. @ Medie007:
haha, so are you still wearing that pair of broadshorts out?? OMG, better not do that again lah~~ :D

    @ Bengbeng:
yeah, i guess this is still quite a "trend" in small town and village.. hahaha!! so they really have two sets of pyjamas?? one for home and one for going out?? *faint*

    ReplyDelete
  43. @ TZ:
hahaha, that's actually smart.. we just wear normal clothes to sleep, and we can still wear the same thing to go out, hahaha~~

    @ Pete:
haha, maybe you are right?? they are wearing something they feel most comfortable with.. and after sleeping in LRT, bus and taxi.. straight away they can go to bed after reach home~~ :D

    ReplyDelete
  44. @ Bananazஇ:
haha, maybe Pete has his own way of thinking.. and it make sense if they wake up early to go out for some chores and plan to go back to sleep later.. why bother to change at all?? haha~~ :D

    @ bluecloud:

  45. @ edward:

    @ reanaclaire:
hahaha, maybe that time you were in your small village?? i think i did that before lah, inside the kampung nobody will bother~~ :D

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wait... is this a trend now? I definitely wear my pyjamas outdoor if they were from major designers - Marc Jacob, Vera Wang... kekeke. Otherwise, better keep it in the house.

    ReplyDelete
  47. haha, i would like to see those pyjamas on the street too.. is or was that a trend?? haha

    ReplyDelete
  48. definitely i won't wear my pyjamas outside my house.. unless it's on a purpose, eg: pyjamas party or parade..

    ReplyDelete
