Lido Hotel high class ah?
ReplyDeleteI know the Lido Hotel in PD only. ^^!
all price go up, if no flood will they come down again? Somehow I don't think so. :(
ReplyDeleteLime juice RM2 might as well bring your own lime and put it in. kakaka
ReplyDelete雜菜飯要RM7?唔係挂?!?
ReplyDeleteTaiping used to be famous for its cheap food.
ReplyDeleteBut now, a bowl of wan tan mee also cost nearly RM4 =_= I can totally understand the price at bigger city like KL.....
DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I've been complaining about this issue since the day I started working.....
ReplyDeleteYa la, using parents' money back then, I was lacking of calculating. When money not enough, either eat maggi mee everyday or thick face ask from papa again.
ReplyDeleteBut after earning my own ringgit, have to do budgeting. Moving on to build a family, my financial has to grow stronger too.
ReplyDeleteSo, everything also I complaint expensive :p
I was not born with a gold key in the mouth wer... neither does my hubb. I only drive an old car and the char koew teow uncle can even affords to drive Estima. Laksa aunty pulak can renovate and expands her corner double storey house.
ReplyDeleteI thought our lovely government has come out the 1Malaysia meal which is RM6 value for the price of RM3...
ReplyDeleteI wanna change profession and do some hawker business already, since their profit margin is so good.
ReplyDeleteBut then again, I'm only good at eating and not cooking *sob sob*
ReplyDeleteWah RM7 for economy rice? Where did you buy it from? Come to the coffee shop near my place.. only RM4.50 usually for 2 vege and 1 meat! :)
ReplyDeleteWah RM7.00 for buffet economy rice!!! Oh my goodness RM5.00 Bananaz also complaining at my place. See there are a few choices of coffee shops and have been comparing prices lately too. There is this shop in particular the most expensive. Quite standard for me all the time, small rice and 3 veges no meat its RM5.00 where the other shops charge between RM4.20 to RM4.50. Not satisfied went again with two veges no meat its RM4.50 and I asked why so expensive? He said lots of veges woh. OK Bananaz let him go one horse this time.
ReplyDeleteWould go again next time to the same expensive shop maybe next week with only one vege to see how much he charges and the following brunch next time would be small rice with only curry kuah to see what is the price. *silent protest* haha.
ReplyDeleteHad economy 'buffet' lunch in Taman Miharja the other day, small rice and two veges paid RM2.80. Woh so cheap one?
ReplyDeleteeconomic rice that charge me more than rm5 for vegetable and rice only will get blacklisted by me immediately. that's why i dislike to patronize most chinese economic rice stalls - the indian rice stalls charge way reasonable than that, with bigger portion and yummier!
ReplyDeleteI agree with kyh. Better go to indian/mamak place. Rice so much on the plate, plus ketam and vege, they only charge me RM4.50 (the one near my house la)
ReplyDeletesome stalls or restaurants are probably taking advantage of the disaster happening in Thai... maybe you should try the local Malaysian rice which should be cheaper. Here, for one kilo of very good quality of rice it costs RM3. It's local.
ReplyDeleteDaylight robberies... RM7.00 for economy rice? But anyway I don't eat economy rice for a long long time already. My office 3 mins drive only from home. Prepare my lunch in the morning before go to work, lunch come back eat with son.
ReplyDeleteP/S The football players on my cupcake is store brought plastic figure. Raining everyday otherwise I would have make my own using sugar paste.
my customers are complaining everyday..
ReplyDeleteWhat? 1 meat 2 vegetable RM7? I think in Malacca...the most RM3.50. :/
ReplyDeleteWell...it is the brand that sells right? That's why the prices have keep on increasing... :/
ReplyDeleteI guess the price of lime has increased as well? :p
ReplyDeleteIn Malacca everything is still relatively reasonable. I hope we won't be catching up with KL anytime soon. :(
ReplyDeleteI can indeed feel the strain of inflation as well. Same amount of vitamin M lasts much lesser number of days nowadays.
ReplyDeletenow that i'm officially jobless oso i have to cut down on my favourite dessert at Snowflake dy. Each time I go in there i'll be at least RM7 bucks poorer :(
ReplyDeletethey really know when to earn money, especially now is end of the year... all need money for ny and cny lol
ReplyDeletethere's a couple of coffee shops just behind berjaya times square also charge really exorbitant rates. I think it's getting tougher living in KL, or Malaysia for that matter.. sigh
ReplyDeleteThe name should be changed from 'economy' rice to one that doesn't mislead, eh? RM7 is too much for that plate of rice unless you picked up some huge prawns. LOL
ReplyDeleteEverything has gone up except the salary that doesn't commensurate with the inflationary rate. *Sigh..*
ReplyDeletePsst.. carry your own limes. Oops!
ReplyDeleteRM2, I can buy two plates of fresh lime...ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteBro... even a packet of decent instant noodles cost more thn a dollar, sigh... life is getting hard on us!
ReplyDeleteSince I dun really hv time to blog, I better leave a few more lines here...
ReplyDeletebefore I get funk out from your top commenter list...
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps I alrdy had been funk even without realizing it...O_o
ReplyDeleteHey, keep well and see u another time ...

ReplyDeleteI just came back from shopping spree in KL, I feel so broke now. It is time to save money, as CNY is approaching.
ReplyDeleteI agree! The food outlets are killing my pockets now!!! I wanna scream so loud!!! ARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was just last week when I really felt the outrageous prices when I paid for the mixed rice at the usual shop! They charged me RM21 for 3 packets! KNNCCB!
ReplyDeleteI started to share drinks with my Letchumi or curi my own water bottles into the cafe to fill 2nd glasses! I am so cheapo har!! Need to save mah!
ReplyDeleteI think the flooding did affect our market as well. The wet market vendors told everyone that chilly and some vegies shot up lo...
ReplyDeleteSome outlets which were not affected just jumped the band wagon. This is the ugly world of survival.
ReplyDeleteI think I should start planting vegetables at home ok. Thambee come to help me plant brinjals and ladies fingers ok?? You bring Kamala along with some fresh cow dungs too!
ReplyDeleteI have to start eating lesser outside and go to YMCA or backlanes to get free food! Good idea Thambee??
ReplyDelete係吖,家阵喺外边用餐边度仲有三蚊鸡一碟饭噃?真係食米唔知米贵,想省米饭钱,睇嚟都要自己亲自下厨煮住家菜囉!哈哈哈~~~
ReplyDeleteYes everything going up, up and up except our income!
ReplyDeleteI try not to order drinks at restaurant if at all possible. They are too expensive and also provide the restaurant with the biggest profit margin!
ReplyDeleteIt's never worth your money ordering water in restaurants. My clean, filtered water from home is so much cheaper!
