[#1240] was with friends the other day and one topic we chat was a security feature in facebook, in which you are required to recognise your friends through their photos when you login from another location.. i find this feature quite innovative, but then not really feasible, why??

I have so little friends in FB kena laugh by my colleagues. Why would I need a lot of friends that I don't know and probably will not have anything in common for? xD

ReplyDeleteGot a friend 'complained' in my email why I never add her as friends despite her constant reminder. Replied her that in the 1st place dunno who the heck is the person with this strange "NAME & Anime pix". How on earth to know it's her, then you sort of 'Oh ya huh'!

ReplyDeleteNot only the picture is not relevant, sometimes friends put names that I don't even know, like jelly sotong or mil kcaj (backwark for jack lim). Who the heck is jelly sotong! and how should I know jack lim is spelled backward!
Another thing that I dislike is, someone add me as friend because I have mutual friend with that person.
ReplyDeleteYou know facebook has that function that appear at the side panel, "People you may know", "xx mutual friends" and "Add friend". Some ppl just utilise this function and add e-friends.
Sometimes I feel like some add more and more friends just to compete who gets the longer friends list.

yeah, because Thambee just thought why facebook never use face recognition technique to block those nonsense tagging?? they should only allow tagging on face, else we will sure one day face such dilemma to having recognize a cat, underwear or some commercial products!! yeah, i think Arumugam you can set tighter security to your profile, only allow friends of friends to add you as friends and not everyone.. haha, meaning Arumugam now seldom leave comments in FB because you want peace of mind?? yeah, now that Thambee has less unknown identity adding Thambee as friends already, that's actually something good, because Thambee never compete with people on the number of friends in the list.. :p
