Yes, i get what u mean when suddenly u wanted to blog about a certain topic but when reaches home, u forgot... i also experience that too many times already... so always ended up writing about a different topic instead... then few days later only recall back.. but i think many times, i cannot recall too.. hahaha... talking about dementia..hope we are not to that stage yet? Obviously u r much younger than i m so u r disqualified.. hahaa...

ReplyDeleteTHe irony is such that whenever we jot things down in our phone or where ever, we will not forget it hence don't even need to refer back to the phone. BUT the ONE time we dont jot it down, that's WHEN we tend to FORGET! Betul tak?

ReplyDeleteNote-taking is a good habit whether putting pen to paper or using the phone. We all have our moments of forgetfulness. Reminds me of all those old-age funny stories about forgetfulness. I must remember to post them. The word is 'remember'. LOL! Have a wonderfully 'forgetful' day. It can be fun that way..

ReplyDeleteBananaz just like you blog based on inspirasi. Good way is to record it down immediately in hp or any paper when the train of thoughts flows through if not sure to even miss smelling the smoke what more about who is Alloysius did you mention Alloysius thought Merryn says Alonso?
ReplyDeleteSometimes Bananaz would be lying in bed almost dozed of but when the thought of one important connection to what I wanna blog, would jump off the bed to write it down immediately. Sometimes not that lucky may go back to sleep with ease but at times the light bulb inside the thick skull refused to be switched off then Bananaz would have no choice but to boot up the laptop and spend another two three hours until 5-6am. The good and bad side of blogging hahaha.

actually being able to remember the whole phrase what AAADD means is already showing you are having a very strong memory!! haha.. you called me Ah Boy?? OMG, how many years i've not heard this before.. i mean from somebody i know and not from the nasi lemak stall auntie lah.. hmmmm, i think jotting your ideas down somewhere is good, not necessarily mean you are forgetful but there are always moments of forgetfulness and your notes if not help you to organise things, at least remind you of things you can link with.. oh gosh, you can stay up till 6am just for one post?? hey, don't push yourself that far, you need sleep ok?? :p

hahaha, but you are still so young and become so much dependent on the notebook?? maybe you should train yourself to remember more things, or else your brain will get rusty, haha!! when i was studying i can remember all homework to be done, but when i'm working there are things that i need to list down to help me remember but also more importantly to organise work.. i guess phone is more convenient because we always carry one, whereas you might have left your notebook at home, haha..

I can't say if it is true. Eventually when I was in Malaysia, my mm usually cook things with gingko nuts in it. So I get quite a fair share.
ReplyDeleteBut since i moved to Singapore, hubs don;t eat gingko nut, so technically don't see them much now. So maybe that is why my memory is going down the drainage haha.

I don't know... never heard any scientifically proven articlae on that. but hey every one goes "you should eat more gingko nuts" when I say "i forgot something!"

要补脑的话是银杏,听说吃苹果会加强记忆力的。
有时会想到写blog的idea,不是忘掉,是我自己懒惰去写下来而已。

yeah, guess i am getting old already lah, sometimes can be very forgetful, have an idea but then a while later i will not be able to recall that anymore, scary yeah?? haha, i didn't steal your idea ok, it just comes very handy to jot notes down in the phone right?? but then it's not good either, this way you become more dependent on your notes and your brain will become rusty, and more forgetful.. so the best way, other than eating ginko nuts, is to train your brain to remember more things.. just like doing exercise, the more you do the more stronger the muscle is, else the muscle will just turn into fats.. yeah, i definitely will not doubt you have nothing to blog about, because you still have lots of things to blog about your trips!! but then i'm wondering, after a long gap in time, you can still remember all the details?? you really have good memory!!!
