YES! Definitely a lot cheaper to cook and eat at home...and nicer and healthier too - reduce the oil, the salt and the msg...or don't use, even better.
ReplyDeleteLast night, went for evening service in church and stopped for dinner outside on the way back. The whole night, that lingering msg taste in the mouth...and in the end, ceret-beret!!! Must be the excessive use of stale cooking oil in the dishes! And so expensive - 2 persons...around RM30! One meal!
indeed!
ReplyDeletethats y cookin' at home is the only way to survive in overseas
tho my cookin' not lookin' that great =(

ReplyDeleteSure much much cheaper than eating out moreover the saying goes "its eating MSG when we eat out" haha..
ReplyDeleteYum! The food sure looks appetising and I'm sure that sparkle adds more taste to it. LOL!
ReplyDeleteGood for you that you can cook, SK, and it's a lot cheaper shopping at a wet market too so that's double savings.

ReplyDeleteEh Thamby ~ I think the mamak Indian food is still cheapest! I was salivating at your food pixs!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is healthier to cook at home but not necessarily cheaper. For $3-$4, I can have a 杂菜饭 dish with maybe 3 dishes... I can't do that at home especially when I am cooking for just one or two....
ReplyDeleteWah! Nice! I can hardly cook to save my life!
ReplyDeleteYes cooking at home can save you $$$!!
ReplyDeleteSo when can u cook a nice dinner for me? : D
simple and healthy! i likey! :D
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late visit SK! :) But im here now! :)
