[Volume 7 Issue 6, #1453]
i still remember one night while i was a form 2 student many years ago, i stayed up late to study for the history exam the next day.. it was about 2am when i suddenly heard a group of kids playing and shouting outside my house, by hearing their noises i supposed there were like 5 to 6 of them.. i felt weird, how could there be kids playing in these wee hours, not only one but a whole group?? how would their parents allow them to stay up this late, and let them play out there alone?? the kids were making noise, why wasn't there anyone to yell at them at all?? furthermore, i don't remember there were any little kids in my neighbourhood.. i suddenly was petrified, don't tell me it's that creepy.. it stayed for a good 10+ minutes, and my heart pumping fast for that entire period.. until i heard a car passed by, then everything just stopped and back to normal.. what was actually happening out there?? it's still a mystery..

    2. The apartment above ours is rented out. Occasionally, we would hear noises : marbles played on the floor &/ furnitures being moved around after midnight.

Last time, I got annoyed to have such thoughtless neighbors and it happened regardless who were staying (or not staying) at the apartment.

But afterwards, a friend told me he experienced the same noise at his house and it's not from human. @.@

    2. A true incident that happened to me :

I was sleeping at night over at my FIL's house. Then suddenly heard a big shout. Scared a bit. DIdn't dare to look and investigate.

Then, next week the same thing happened again.

Finally I realised it was the futsal playing people on the top of the roof over at NST building. kekeke

  25. When I first moved into my house, I didn't feel comfortable and it seemed that something was lurking at the corner.

Maybe it was just my imagination....

    1. If I stayed up late at night, I know there is something lurking in the corridor leading to my room. Can feel "it".

I take it as a sign that it asked me to sleep and let it play around the hall. ;p

      Delete
  26. Or maybe it was for real because the house was left emptied for years before we bought it 2nd hand.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Some Chinese believe when a house is unoccupied for a long time, it'll get additional 'tenants' (yin).

And having house warming party, whereby we invite many many happy and loud guests (yang) will 'cleanse' the house.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I didn't have large-scale house warming party, but after several years living in, I no longer feel the 'presence'.

It must be my imagination - I was adapting to some other transitions when we moved house. I guess I was mentally tired.

    3. It's not the TV program, I swear~

I hid in the blanket for several minutes, chanting whatever mantras I know and peeped on the TV again.

Now the TV was showing some local football game.
