可能我真係越老就越天真, 哈哈!! 以前都唔會話去收集玩具嘅, 不過最近就好似特別鍾情於呢啲開心樂園玩具, 當然我未至於瘋狂到乜都一定會買啦.. 其實見到呢啲玩具, 除咗覺得佢哋(色彩繽紛)好靚之外, 望住佢哋, 甚至得閑嘅時候拎嚟玩一玩, 我就會覺得開心.. 既然自己可以開心, 咁又何樂而不為呢, 係唔係?? 呵呵.. 其實都有讀者問過我, 係唔係用個好大嘅櫃嚟展示我啲玩具?? 如果我話唔係, 會唔會好失望?? 老實講, 我都係展示其中幾個我比較喜歡同埋比較近期嘅玩具, 其他嘅都係收起嚟咗, 因為實在冇咁多地方可以擺晒全部出嚟嘛.. 我咪就係咁樣展示囉, 整整齊齊咁唔會太多又唔會太少, 因為我自己都唔鍾意太雜亂而又太誇張囉(或者你覺得係已經十分誇張呢?? 呵呵!!)..
maybe i really get more childish as i aged, haha!! i don't remember i ever collected any toys, but recently it seemed that i am quite fancy of these Happy Meal toys, of course i am still rational and will not grab whatever available.. actually when i see these toys, besides thinking that they are very (colorful and) adorable, looking at them or even sometimes playing them when free, i indeed feel a lot happier.. since i am happy, why not then, agree?? hehe.. in fact some readers actually wondered if i have a huge cabinet to display my toys.. will i disappoint you if i say no?? i actually just display some of my favorites and also the more recent ones but keeping the rest in my drawer, as i don't have space for all.. so this is how i showcase my toys , just nice and neat since i don't like it to be overdone too (or you think it's already over the top?? haha!!)..

      LOL... I think SK's 2nd childhood is happening too early. My dad is in his 80s and just bought a toy cat that meows from pasar malam. I wanted to laugh and cry at my old man.

      Eh not maybe leh. Will be. All these really can b antique. Just browse flea market in amcirp mall. Some toys we saw 20-30 yrs ago now selling puluhan rm. If rare ones may fetch higher price

      I agree that antique toys are priceless and can fetch crazy and shocking high prices at Sotheby's or Christie's Auction houses. I am a regular hantu who reads up books and onlines about antique values. Someday these Minions and Doraemons could fetch million ringgits!! SK Thambee will become a self made Chettiar Millionaire!

      SK definitely has big shelves!! He even threw away Kamala's sarees from the cupboard to store his toys! So heartless Thambee! Phiak his kari pap head!

      I am just waiting for SK to open his doors to public to view his vast collections. I still remember I gave him some Japanese rare toys!!! My friend told me one of the figurines I gave you has stopped production!!! Give me back! Give me back!!!

      haha, not going to show all of them here lah, later got no surprise anymore, haha!! hmmm, actually i am not planning to get big shelves or cabinets to display them, indeed i have an even crazier idea.. i will want to build racks right onto the wall, and then place all the items in my collection there!! now, that would indeed be more impressive than having them in cabinets right?? and that maybe could be a mini museum in the future dei~~ :p

      haha, no lah, won't be getting glass cabinets to display them.. i have some other more crazy idea, hehehe!! oh, seems that McD toys are more interesting than KFC and always better quality.. but lately the Minions from McD were really disappointing, very lousy quality and finishing.. sigh, yet so many people are crazy for them, including myself, muahahahaha!! :D

      hmmm, not really interested in shelves or racks or cabinets lah, they look so dull and boring.. i want to build two or three rows of long racks right on the wall and line the toys up there, that would be a more interesting sight!! don't you think so??

      hmmm, IKEA catalog is free, and even downloadable as apps in your smartphone too.. can always get ideas from their catalog (not necessarily need to buy)~~

    I don't really can read Chinese, but the title is like "Kai Xin Le Yuan" si bo?

    Then you really want to built a playground for all of them? Or don't get them a cupboard which is so boring in a square box. But get them a playground by buying a large train track. Place all the toys all over the places... so fun! While watching the train "choo choo" and still can watch and play with your toys!

      haha, sometimes as your kids grow up, their taste will change.. maybe in their 20s they don't like toys, but in their 30s they will go back to like them like i do.. so, better ask them properly before you giveaway their toys to other, hehe :p

      Anyway, I guess not just you la, many adults also crazy bout those minions/smurfs by McD lately. Cause they are really cute!
      As for me, I am exception, I got only one minion for Aden, cause I am not that crazy over those toys.

      Since you have the interest to collect toys, why not buy another cabinet just to display them? I am sure those toys will become more and more in the days to come.. Then your bookshelf will have no more space already :p

      you are right!! those who were crazy over the minions are all ADULTS, and kids didn't even have the chance to have minions inside their Happy Meal at all, how poor thing!! i didn't manage to collect the whole set also, but got help from friends in overseas to collect a few for me to enlarge my collection, haha!!

      errr, of course the toys are more nicer to see than the books lah.. the books seem to be like background to them only, hahaha!! my bad.. not going to get cabinet lah, square square very boring, i am thinking of doing racks right on the wall to display all of them, like that more 震撼!! hehe~~ :D

    Your book shelves with those toys displayed are indeed all neatly arranged. This show that you are a very perfectionist and neat person. Good for you. I am not a very neat person. I try not to display so many things. Thank Goodness, I have a neat and clean freak husband.

    No la, I don't collect toys, my girls collected some that they really like.

    I guess they will outgrow toys soon. I see them reading books more often than touching their toys. I should happy about this right?
