[#1223] i did not go anywhere but stayed at home on 9th July, and have been following with all lastest updates of the rally and taking concerns of situation out there.. the incident ended one of its chapter, whatever happened has happened and i think it's not appropriate to comment on the issue anymore.. the truth can't be denied and lies can't be the truth, instead what comes more valuable was that noble spirit we have clearly seen.. hence i'd like to share some of the photos taken from websites that truthfully show situations during the rally, i collaged them a little to commemorate this historic day..

  25. Blogger have our very own SK's historic 'Hari Ini Dalam Sebelah', very neatly done.

    ReplyDelete
  26. This is the real incident. Thank you for posting this. And there is more people dunno about truth about Bersih. Especially Youngster who always

    ReplyDelete
  27. those leaders say will sue and arrest media and blogger who post false massage on the Internet . . . I am so sad about this issue and make me no worries about it. Because most of the Blogger that I know posted facts about Bersih Rally.

Me myself I know what happen because readed live twitter about Bersih, unlike other official Media which is simply sit inside office and edit some photo then posted on the official website say that "PDRM treat the Bersih Protest very good and give medical too" man seriously this is such a insult . . .

    ReplyDelete
  28. BN and News Media Humiliate those who had a clean mind and corrupt the Rakyat mind . . .

  31. it is a memorable date for all malaysian.

    ReplyDelete
  32. beautifully done SK, love the way you arranged it.

the issue is far from being over. it will definitely be brought up again and again. if it died down, i think during the next GE, surely got ppl bring it up one. lol

i just dont understand why the gov still wanna deny and lie when we see how many people have been posting on FB their experiences on that day. i.e., the attack of a hospital; direct contact... sigh... democracy is a bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  33. My heart goes out to all of those who walked the talk, literally! Especially to Anne, Lady of Liberty!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. We saw the filtered, they experienced the truth, this is so true. Still there was someone telling the press there was no tear gas thrown inside the hospital, despite pictures and videos were captured. Media isn't bersih and hospital also isn't bersih. Sigh...

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  36. very sad to know about this. sigh.. I think it will never end. :/

    ReplyDelete
  37. I was at sunway lagoon on dat day. at 1st was worry if the road really close. :x

    ReplyDelete
  38. looking at the pictures n videos posted online everywhere seriously make me speechless. especially when reading blogger who went there and their experience.

    ReplyDelete
  39. certain part i dnt understand why the police wanna throw tear gas to the people when they didnt do any violence. :(

    ReplyDelete
  40. hopefully everything will get better and peace. :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thanks for sharing these photos! I am moved!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Salute to Anne, the Lady Of Liberty!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I just think it is not right to use the tear gas when the crowd did not fight with the police or turn violent! I mean they were just standing there!

    ReplyDelete
  44. And to shoot tear gas into Tung Shin Hospital compound and later denied it?! Unacceptable!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Do the police really need to be brutal? Were these people carrying weapons? They were just marching peacefully.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Is it too much to ask for a fair and clean election? And it's just a peaceful gathering. Why did the police over-reacted and blocked the roads and all?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Had the Government allowed the rally to be held at Stadium Merdeka, there would not be so much chaos on that day.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I watched the TV3 news that night and was shocked that they covered up most of the truth. I mean, I was following the events on Twitter and the stories on Twitter, which was live btw, were totally different from what was portrayed in TV3!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Reading NST also made me felt a little angry. Every article on the Bersih rally was in support of the Government. Not fair reporting at all!

    ReplyDelete
  50. This is not to say I support rallies. Or even support Bersih. I just think people should be allowed to freely voice their opinions as long as it's done in a proper manner.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Of course I thought UMNO and Perkasa organizing their own rallies on that day were troublemakers! I mean, let Bersih have their rallies first, and then you can also do your own rallies! Having rallies on the same day at the same place are just asking for trouble and that's what they want I guess!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I admire all those who went for the rally. Even though there were lots of insincere people using the rally for their own hidden agendas, I thought there were also lots of sincere people who really wanted what was best for the country.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Marina Mahathir also attended the rally. I wonder what Dr M thinks of her daughter! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  54. So is the Bersih rally a success? I LOL when all sides claimed they won. Bersih said the rally was successful. The Government said they succeed in stopping Bersih from carrying out the rally. And the police said they were successful in preventing the rally from turning violent when it was them who were the violent party!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I guess the only losers were the business people and shop owners. Like losing thousands or tens of thousands on that day.

    ReplyDelete
  56. such a huge crowd huh... this is wuite a normal scenario here too... oppositions versus the administration...

    ReplyDelete
  57. If that's the news on TV, i will immediately change the channel or turn the TV off...

    ReplyDelete
  58. just hoping this issue will end soon...

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  60. Things happen for a reason and after 709 we saw their true colors of men in blue. Supposed to protect the rakyat and contain peace and order BUT..they are brutal, abused their powers and were trouble makers themselves. Saw a video clip where one elderly man wearing a white haji cap was sitting on the road with the rest, peaceful with non-violence. Just as the polis fired tear gas a bunch of polis rush over and kicked the Tuan Haji who was seated in the front row. OMG! Shocked with disbelief and lost for words..

    ReplyDelete
  61. Mmmmm,, I wonder next year what colour will they choose....LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  62. A wonderful compilation, SK. Thanks for sharing.

Technology of today has allowed us access to whatever's happening around the world, good or bad. Twitter and video-sharing have changed the world of communication.

And a blog is a great place for documentation, yeah?

    ReplyDelete
  63. our men in blue got overzealous exercising their power. Were any of the people involved in the rally violent to warrant tear gas and getting hosed down?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  65. i wanted to join the crowd but unfortunately i need to work on that day. So i missed the moment :(

    ReplyDelete
  66. We saw a TRUE "1 MALAYSIA" on 709!

    ReplyDelete
  67. thanks for sharing the photos, and that's really a nice compilation of photo collages.. well done SK :)

    ReplyDelete
  70. @ Bananazஇ:
Anne has since then become very popular in the web, i guess she will never expect that right?? :)

    @ lina:
yeah, i am not as brave as them too.. they have showed us that they act upon their request for rights as a citizen..

    ReplyDelete

    @ Sam Wong:
well, look into the positive side, i think they have showed us some respectable spirit right??

    ReplyDelete
  72. @ Twilight Man:
Arumugam where were you on that day?? Arumugam was hiding deep inside the Thailand forest and never bother to come back and march with Letchumi!! haha, Kamala is a very low profile lady, she will not want to become any other lady besides Lady of Thambee, haha!! that Arumugam must understand ok?? oh, yeah, Thambee was so touched by those photos and hence decided to do this collage of photos.. Arumugam want to go with Thambee next time?? errr, wonder if there's another time actually?? haha.. errr, maybe Marina just hide at one corner and nobody noticed her, anyway that is not important also right?? important is that we see the spirit of the warriors, kind of respectable..

    @ edward:

    ReplyDelete
  73. @ Tekkaus:
oh yeah, with the instant communications of technology, i think we have seen a lot of the truth right??

    @ suituapui:
yeah, just continue with your eating after eating.. hehehe!!

    ReplyDelete
  74. @ ladyviral:
oh, you didn't know what was happening?? maybe just login to FB and you'll see lots of things..

    @ lina:
well, don't you think this is what always happen over here?? but i'm happy we have now technology to help us see the truth..

    ReplyDelete
  75. @ Hayley:
well, it really depends on what kind of newspaper you read.. local mainstream paper, you'll see the pro-government.. foreign newspapers, you probably see the neutral reporting..

    @ yvonne:
yeah, no doubt the yellowers have shown us respectable spirit.. haha, Lady of Liberty, i guess Anne never expect herself to be so popular now right?? she even has her own fan page in FB now, haha..

    ReplyDelete
  76. @ Isaac Tan:
yeah, i think many are proud of the respectable spirit of the forefront yellow warriors.. not to condemn the administrators, but at least we see that the people are now voicing out what they really want for the country..

    @ neTToboy:
no matter it's a success or failure, we cannot deny that the message was conveyed and we see the respectable spirit of the warriors voicing what we really want for the country..

    ReplyDelete
  77. @ kyh:
yeah, i also commented a lot in FB but i didn't share a lot.. actually enjoy reading and watching all those articles posted.. haha, i have my yellow profile pics took, but i changed it back to normal one after the show.. you interested with the numbered photo?? i used some javascripts to do them myself.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. @ Bananazஇ:
haha, i think not only myself.. there are lots of bloggers writing about this in their own blogs, this is not only SK but about our land.. :)

    @ Kian Fai:
i have to say many of the youngsters now are still happily enjoying their own games, i still see people posting about what they eat and what they play on that day, and they really look quite annoying amongst the majority posting about the rally.. we read and saw the truth from the neutral sources, and those are not censored and reporting the very truthful facts.. you seem to have your own stand point and view about the whole issue, but i guess you have to be modest in your wordings if you really want to express your views on this issue, maybe you can add on some disclaimer to protect your own interests.. i seriously think freedom of speech is always our right.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  79. @ CH Voon:
haha, i heard it feels just like stronger pepper spray, that will make you tear and little sharp pain like needle poke on your skin.. and they say by gargling salt will help you feel better.. :)

    @ Medie007:
oh my!! surprise Medie007 is leaving such a long comment this time, haha!! well, i never say this issue was over but i specifically say a chapter is over meaning the rally itself.. well, we all know what is gonna happen in the next GE, even the authorities can make wild guesses and are now trying to patch back all the gaps.. but the more the do to patch, the more the people feel irritated..

    ReplyDelete
  80. @ iamthewitch:
yeah, i have to say i respect the forefront warriors a lot.. and Anne is definitely somebody what won all nation's respect..

    @ Sheoh Yan:
well, all sorts and all versions of stories to try to show that they are right.. still they are not regretful about all the harm they have caused, but just want to deny!! guess this is their philosophy of life, which i think is just garbage thinking!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. @ Casendra:

    @ Caroline Ng May Ling:
yeah, so you were enjoying yourself in Sunway Lagoon that day and worried that if the road are closed you cannot go home?? haha.. well, i think everything was over-reacted and it is just so unnecessary to do all those prevention as the intention of the rally was for a peaceful petition.. similar to you, there are a lot of things that we cannot comprehend at all, but albeit everything we still want things to go better and everyone lives in peace in this land of ours.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  82. @ foongpc:
well, i didn't choose to even read and watch the reportings from the local mainstream media, as i know they will be pro-government and will do their best to cover up a lot of stories that are not doing well to the government.. i choose to believe neutral bodies, as they are the one who will not censor and do direct reporting on the facts truthfully.. i do have the same view, being neutral and not supporting either side, i do think that if things are being arranged accordingly in a peaceful manner, no one side trying to pull down the other side, there will be no violence and brutality but just merely a peaceful march.. i regret to see all the casualties and sufferings, for which the initial intention is a peaceful rally for a more transparent voting system.. well, losers?? i think there are even bigger losers than the business and shops, from what we have read, the government definitely has lost trust from many people.. not to comment whether the rally is successful or a failure, i guess at least we see the respectable spirit of the people who participate in the rally, to bravely voice out their views and what we really want for the country.. it's for the country and the people, and not for individuals.. this is what we call a very noble altruistic spirit.. Lady of Liberty, haha, yeah, for sure Anne will never expect herself to be so popular now yeah?? :p

    @ bluedreamer27:
haha, not really politics but just an incident that happened in our country last saturday if you've not heard about it.. am curious what has the Philippines reported about this incident on news??

    ReplyDelete
  83. @ imyuyu:

    @ Bananazஇ:
oh yeah, that was featured in the Al Jazeera right?? i saw that too, and it was really a shock and we all know who has done the wrong things clearly from there.. yet, some are still trying to deny their deeds with thousands of excuses and explanations, i was really pissed off with that.. it was such an unfair situation for the forefront, but yet their respectable and perseverance spirit is something that i must salute them..

    ReplyDelete
  84. @ Pete:
will still be the yellow color i guess.. so are you wearing yellow every saturday now??

    @ HappySurfer:
yes, technology has allowed us to see the real truth experienced by the people and not merely the censored news.. i have been sitting in front of the PC refreshing my facebook for latest updates of the rally.. haha, so i am posting this to commemorate this historic day.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. @ lina:
definitely like what has been described by Bananazஇ in his comment above.. we see the truth and there's just no way that we will believe what's been explained to deny the deeds right??

    ReplyDelete
  86. @ TZ:
oh, so you have been working for the whole day on saturday?? why didn't you take leave to join the crowd?? :p

    @ Quay Po Cooks:
yeah, we really saw the true 1Malaysia spirit being exercised amongst the protestors.. :)

    @ victor:
haha, thanks, just felt that i should be posting something about this historic day.. didn't want to comment much so i just showed some photos.. haha, to the yellow warriors and lady of liberty~~ :D

    ReplyDelete
  87. Ha ha ha ha LMAO! How dare Thambee said I was hiding deep in Thailand's forest???

    ReplyDelete
  88. Spot on, you really could smell that I was inside a forest and you were correct dei. I will blog about it later.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I really like your blog and initiative to decorate your banners and photos. Now your rally's photo was well arranged and touched me all over! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  90. like everything happens for a reason....

    ReplyDelete
  91. @ Twilight Man:
eih, Arumugam you were really hiding deep inside the Thai forest right?? Arumugam whatsapp Thambee remember?? haha.. too bad Arumugam didn't join the rally, or else it will be more meaningful than hiding inside the forest.. oh yeah, just think this is a meaningful day in the history, so Thambee want to dedicate these photos to the yellow spirit.. :)

    @ Ayie:
yeah, this is actually about a rally that happened in Kuala Lumpur last Saturday, for fairer and cleaner electoral process.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yo! Thambee you have been booked for next rally!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Get ready your Yellow outfits. Put on the best smiles so that I can snap your photos.

    ReplyDelete
  94. I will make a slide of Thambee protesting in the rally and throw yellow curry at the water canons gunmen!

    ReplyDelete
  95. I hope you will post more such photos to wake bloggers and readers up to vote and exercise their rights!

    ReplyDelete
  96. SK Thambee wisely said NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT A REASON... It is 100 comments again!

    ReplyDelete
  97. @ Twilight Man:
hey, Thambee really hope this will be the last rally that the people have to participate.. Thambee of course would rather see a everything running good and for the rakyat than to see all the casualties and brutalities in such rally right?? if there's a real democracy, do you think there's even a need for street protest and rally?? Arumugam you so looking forward to throw yellow curry with cheese at the brutal force?? kekekeke.. better go back to motherland and eat the curry cooked by Letchumi lah, those are specially for Arumugam cooked with heart~~ :p
