i mentioned earlier that i started to have (gained back) some interest in reading, but just do not know where to start.. yesterday i finally made the first step out, i bought two books in one shot, both talking about positive life, am actually quite interested in these type of books lately.. both books are international bestsellers, they are actually not new anymore, being translated into multi languages.. so these are the two books i have bought, if you like reading, i supposed you briefly heard about them??

[1] 保羅•科爾賀《煉金術士》 [2] 米治•艾爾邦《在天堂遇見的五個人》
[1] Paulo Coelho "The Alchemist" [2] Mitch Albom "The Five People You Meet In Heaven"

今日開始睇第一本, 一頁一頁慢慢咁睇, 竟然有令我想一路繼續睇落去嘅衝動!! 原來閱讀嘅感覺係如此美好, 至少我而家嘅心情係咁樣認為..
started reading the first book today, i slowly read it page by page, and surprisingly i somehow got that urge to continue reading it all the way long!! never knew reading could be so fulfilling, at least now that my mood is telling me so..

  2. I have read both books and they are good! Although not a page turner for me lah. I like page turners! Usually reserved for fiction books.

For the mitch Albom's book, I prefer his "Tuesdays With Morrie" - very touching.

  16. I have the whole range of Paulo Coelho books.

Can borrow from me if you want to continue reading his books. Chloe likes it too.

I finished his latest "Winner Stands Alone" which described Cannes Festival. "Eleven Minutes" is one of his best work, apart from Alchemist.

Tuesday with Morie I also had this book and always cool to lend it to you.

hehe, those type of books are quite addictive though i would say.. most of the time those books are quite lengthy, for a start i prefer to read something short, so that i won't get impatient for a start, haha!! yeah, writing in two languages is to help myself gain more readers.. :p

    uLi.佑莉:

  38. Moments of reading a good book (especially in between sips of a nice cuppa, while slothed back in a comfy seat, with some soft music in the background ;) ) are certainly becoming a rarity in this fast-paced day and age. They are still a very refreshing change and welcome interludes compared to reading off the computer screen day in day out. I’m sure you’d agree. Happy reading :) .

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ayie:
haha, a wide taste of readings you are doing huh.. no wonder you are hosting so many blogs :p

    IcyFire:
yes i totally agree with you, i really don't like to read on my computer screen - i already have enough of this from work.. it really feel more substance holding a book, and this is what you call a real reading.. and of course a cosy environment will complement reading a lot.. :)
