[Volume 9 Issue 2, #1863]
if i am not wrong, i think in this blogsphere we have been entertained, the most written topic must be all about food.. come to think about it, it's been ages since i last blogged about what i ate in a day.. so let me (pretend to) be a foodie blogger for a day, fret not good food or bad food, once eaten and must blog about it!! haha, we shall see how boring or how interesting this food post of mine can be.. :p

    3. Good morning, Meow, SK and everyone!

SK, I think you did well in your foodie report. Anything more would be *yawn*. Oops!

I like my roti telur bawang banjir and down it all with piping hot teh tarik. Yumm!

I must admit I still can't tell the difference between kolo mee and kampua mee. Shhh... don't let the Sibu Mayor read this.

As for Sarawak laksa, my vote goes to Johore curry laksa, the one we have here in the peninsula. I suppose it's just a matter of taste buds. Durian? Anytime! :D

      Happy Friday!

I like SK's post today. Honest and frank to the core. So I shall comment honest and frank to the core too. I have almost stopped eating Roti Chanai for months on regular basis as it made my face round like one Roti Chanai too! I love Roti Banjir very much and could down 2-3 pieces at one sitting with 2 teh tareks to flush down!!! That's scary when I saw my weighing scales! Alamak!

    5. I don't take Roti Canai also, because it has flour, butter and oil, very fattening la! I prefer Chapatti la! When my girls order roti canai, I will steal one or two bites to satisfy my hunger of Roti Canai only.

    4. Back the post, as for me, I've fix breakfast every week (fix it is better coz I'm very lazy to think what to eat everyday, hehe!!!)

Monday is "yu tou mie" which my mom will "da boa" for me and my sister from morning market!!!

Tuesday is "fried mee hun", I have this fried mee hun since I was very young as my mom always "da bao" for me to pack to school as lunch!!! Since I always "da bao" from the same stall, this aunty always give a lot, the amount of mee hun for Rm2.50 is like Rm5 outside......(don't know why the aunty give me so much, it always last till tea time around 3 something)

Wednesday is "zhu cheong fen", I always have 5 pieces, one "fu zhou", two different types of "fish ball" and two "pian zhu cheong fen"......all for Rm3.50, last time was Rm3 but prize goes up after CNY!!!

Thursday is my favorite, wanton noodle!!! I must have this every week "da bao" from the stall next to the fried mee hun!!! Since I always "da bao" from there, they've already know what I wanted to order every time, a small wanton noodle for Rm4.50 but the amount of noodle is like Rm5.50 noodles lo!!! Not only this, they always give me a lot of wantons!!! Hehe, so yummy!!! =]

Friday is spicy pan mee, the chili must always eat with the pan mee!!! Remember that's one time, I over put the chili then it became very spicy...so I was like half crying and half eating....(looks like so "charm"......but actually not lo)

Saturday is dim sum...coz my mom must have dim sum every Saturday so no choice la!!! I normally have a plate of "zhu cheong fen", "ha gao" and "xiu mai"!!!

Sunday is "dry kwai teow" this's my favorite as well coz it's a bit taste like wanton noodle, hehe!!! =]

      Delete
    5. But if I've that mood, I'll purposely drive further a bit to buy roti canai (the specify stall which has the best taste for us)

For me, I piece of roti canai is enough then add on with hot milo!!!

Is true that, they won't increased the price but make it smaller portion a bit so you'll be tended to order more!!! =[

      Delete
    6. For lunch I normally have vegetarian food outside, depends on the day mood, it can be very different everyday!!!

As my dinner is very typically home style one, I'll go home have my dinner everyday so don't have to think of what to eat, I eat whatever my mom cook!!! =]

For the last part, I don't think you're out of topic la, just another way to write about food post only, right?

    7. Lega...I dunno whether it's your address n name or not. Takut you asked family members to post the parcel to me so that address n name not yours lol.

Manja can mou? I replied in my blog, but I will write again here, just in case you don’t go back to my blog and read my reply.. Meet up one day, you bring your laptop, I give you a bunch of red roses and belanja you one the ping.. Ok mou? Then you teach me hah..

Or are you going to say “Not all guys like manja girl, if you manja me, I will slap you until your ribbon fly 250m away from you”..

    1. Ok, enuff about my nonsense and saampaat introduction. Let’s see what you eat in a day.

#1 – Roti kosong only? Cukup ahh? If me ahh, I like roti telur-planta.. I will have 2 roti telur-planta or 1 roti telur-planta and 1 roti bawang.. But after roti bawang, the mouth will stink wor.. if my “kun yam ping” smells it, then malu lor.. Wat stim also potong liao.. But yes, overall, I like roti for breakfast.. Quite filling also.. You prefer fish curry or dhall? I usually only prefer sugar and sambal.. (wait, sugar & sambal or sugar + sambal?).. Yes, you read it correct, sugar + sambal.. So nice especially with my roti telur-planta..

Normally for breakfast, I only drink a cup of “milooook” with a few slices of soda peang.. Sometimes just a cup of my Usana meal replacement shake.. Then I will be full liao.. I cannot take anything else after my meal replacement shake, because like the name implies, it’s already equivalent to 1 meal.. So if I mulut gatal eat again after I drink my meal replacement shake, then will lagi +fat, you un.. I could control myself pretty well in the morning, no issue…

      Delete
    2. #2 – Normally my lunch leh, I will go for something soupy.. Like chue yok fun or pan mee or curry mee.. But I like char kuey teow also.. I usually order my char kuey teow mein with extra (raw) cockles, which the uncle will put on the plate, then after he cooks the noodles, he will put the freshly cooked hot noodles on top of the (raw) cockles to cover it.. Sedapppp…

Oh, I’ve seen you post in FB.. When you ordered your ckt, you asked for big ckt but when the uncler served you, it was small ckt?

Actually I don’t really un what you wana say in FB, coz if you didn’t mention you want big or small, normally they will give small when we eat in food court (regardless of your size la, please)..

      Delete
    3. #3 – Uiiks, dinner eat noodles again ahh? I have never eaten kolo mee before, but I know it tastes and looks like hakka mee.. Dry mee with minced meat and a few slices of char siew, yes? Not the dark type, but light type..

Normally I will cook dinner la.. Ooops, not I cook, but the hubs.. I used to cook lastime, but after having baby G, I got no time to cook liao.. And by the time I reach home, already late, so no mood to cook also.. The hubs usually reach home earlier, so he cooks lor..

Usually very simple food like steamed egg, steamed fish and 1 vege.. Sometimes I wakeup early in the morning and boil soup before I go to work. Then we have soup for dinner lor..

      Delete
    4. #4 – What’s this? My England not good la, dunno what is this..

Aiya, why you always say you talk nonsense? Interesting ma ok lor.. You have your own style ma.. If so standardized wana blog about the place, price and taste, boring lor..

Normal food, simple food, no need so cheong hei wana comment about the price and taste kua, keke..

See, belum cukup 15 minutes you publish this post already got 12 comments.. Even you talk nonsense also got so many people layan your comments.. Nonsense or not, your comments will always still hit >100 one.. Yes?

    5. Aiyo! This Ribbon Princess of Nenek Moyang Land can really comment so much higher and faster than the share markets at Bursa Saham. Good lah! Most people like your frank and direct talk without beating around the bush!

Wakakakaka... I laughed at your comments! I think I use Milo and Kopi sachets as my morning's replacement meal, enough to keep my mouth & tummy shut. My method is cheap la but not so nutritious like Cambridge or USANA plans.

    6. TM, I take that as a compliment..

I am known (in my workplace) for my straight-forward-ness (wait, is that a word?), frank-ness (is that a word too?) and also a cili-padi. Step on my tail and I will make you regret and kneel down on your knees and beg me to forgive you (chewaahhh).. Nah, just kidding..
*P/S: I'm trying to imitate the way you talk, when you said you are gonna gag your workers and burn them alive after that, teehee..

I’m a sweet girl always with my trademark ribbon hair clip and always make manja face and that’s why, I have kun yam ping in the office… Nah, just kidding again..

Eh, I’m a cheapskate too.. I alternate milo with my Usana shake, so that the shake can last longer lor.. if I don’t alternate, and if I take it 3x a day, then it will be gone in less than a week.. But I’m trying to drag until a month, by taking it 1x a day, and also alternately..

Me usually morning a cup of milo with soda peang or a cup of meal replacement shake. Lunch depends where the colleagues go. Usually depends on the driver... Can be curry mee or chicken rice. Occasionally kiu soong lor... Dinner eat rice again with simple dishes like steamed fish and vege... Sometimes fry bihun or make a mee soup with my leftover ABC soup...

I sometimes wakeup at 4am to boil soup. When I leave for work I just leave the (untouched) soup on the table. I dont have a magic pot by the way so I just leave it on thr table. In the evening we just heat up the soup and we have soup for dinner, yay!

    2. yes, I totally agree. Everyone has their own preference so we write as we like it.

wow, Louiz wakes up at 4am? I couldn't open my eyes yet at that time. I usually use the slow cooker to boil soup. Very easy and the soup is ready by the time I get back from work.

    3. I tried using the slow cooker to boil soup but some soup doesnt go well with slow cooker... The basics, ABC soup... Try using a slow cooker to boil soup and it's tasteless one wor... I asked my lady boss and she says the same.. Some soup cannot use slow cooker one wor, 'mou mei' one...

    2. Your roti canai did looks kinda inviting! I love roti canai too, in fact I prefer the original type rather than those with extra flavor like roti telur, roti bawang, roti pisang and etc (But of course I don't mind to have them once a while la! Sometimes need to change taste abit ma!) And I prefer to eat my roti canai with the curry rather than with sugar.
Hmm, regarding the shrunk size roti canai, haih what to do? Everything also 起价, if the hawker increase the price, he will worry to lose customers, or might receive complains from others. So a better way is to shrink the food size a bit lo, this way is safer.
Anyway, breakfast is the most important meal of a day, so it's actually a good habit to eat our breakfast daily, as of what breakfast is that, or how healthy is our breakfast, that's another story la!

    3. Your plate of char kuey teow looks good too, I can see lots of 'liu' inside! Got 'lap cheong' some more! Do you agree 'lap cheong' goes well with probably anything? Even fried rice!
For me, I always prefer kuey teow mee, than plain kuey teow. Even when I order the soup one, I will also prefer kuey teow mee. I just think plain kuey teow is a bit boring and tasteless, at least with mee, the feeling is different, 会比较有嚼劲,LOL!
And I can't help but to laugh at how you described what the boss did! I wonder why he gave you a small plate? I don't think it has anything to do with you la! May be that's what he does these days? Cause everything also became expensive already ma!

Anyway, by looking at the photo, it looks like wantan mee (or may be it's very similar to wantan mee? :p Cause I see it's dry type, and got vege and char siew ma....) May be the taste and the noodles texture is different la! Must try then only can comment ;P
