| 好呀!! 我知大家睇到上面兩張相時實係啃親, 你叫自己要相信相中人係我, 不過(同依家嘅我比較後)又說服唔到自己?? 冇呃你啦, 相入面真係我嚟㗎, 哇哈哈哈!! 你可能想問我, 無啦啦做乜要拎呢兩張相出嚟嚇人?? 其實我係醒起自己有個成長系列篇, 對上一貼已是18個月前所寫嘅學院日子, 我覺得唔好俾佢停啦, 於是今日就以大學生涯故事為他延續落去.. 至於呢兩張相, 我又有咩故事可以講咁呢??

| great!! i know you choked very badly when you saw the photos above, you wanted to believe that was me in the photo yet not convinced (after comparing to the now me)?? seriously, i assured you that person in the photos was me, muahahaha!! why am i showing these horrible photos out of a sudden, you may ask?? i recall my growing-up series of posts, of which the last post was published 18 months ago on my college days.. abandoned for too long, i thought i am going to resume the series today, continuing with stories from my university days.. so, what story can i tell from these two photos?? in point form..

| 都有成三個月冇用我嘅成長系列posts嚟悶親大家喇, 今日就由上一回講到嘅中學生涯繼續落去啦, 哈哈!! 其實去到中六嘅時候, 都仲未想清楚自己將來想做乜, [下刪詳情五百字], 陰差陽錯之下, 跟咗大隊去咗城中某學院讀咗個1+2嘅電器及電子工程.. 1+2課程即係話, 第一年喺呢間學院讀Diploma兼大學一年, 跟住兩年就喺英國讀埋個Degree, 係相當快速嘅一個途徑.. 所以學院生涯其實得短短九個月, 印象唔係太深刻, 唯一唔同嘅係終於唔駛著校服返學, 而且遲到走堂冇人理, 同校風嚴厲嘅中學比較簡直係天淵之別, 哈哈!! 當時中六考完試等成績, 仲有兩個月先算係畢業, 我就得到校方同意去學院上堂, 兩個月之後再返去參加中學畢業典禮, 係好有趣嘅一個經歷.. 呢張相係我少數學院照嘅其中一張, 攝於1996年喺日航酒店舉行嘅畢業典禮上, 當時因為只係Diploma畢業, 所以未戴得四方帽住(都唔明做乜硬係要搞個畢業禮??).. 後面個女人係院長, 化咗灰都仲記得佢一口高八度嘅英文同埋講嘢時候翹起嘅厚脣, 而頒發證書嘅就係當時嘅副教育部長, 大家仲認得嘛?? 之後就係庸庸碌碌準備過英國嘅事喇, 下回再同大家分享大學生涯啦~~ :) |
| it's been three months i have not bored you with my growing-up series of posts, let's continue today from where we left at my high school life, haha!! when i was in form 6 i still haven't really thought of what i wanted to do in the future, [deleted 500 words on details], in the end and by chances i just followed the flock and got into a local college to do a 1+2 electrical and electronics engineering program.. this 1+2 program means, the first year doing a diploma cum year one syllabus, and the subsequent two years to complete the degree course in UK.. hence my college life was just a short nine months, don't really remember much but what i found different was that i didn't need to wear school uniform anymore, and nobody will care about me being late or skipping lectures, compared to my strict high school it's just so upside-down different, haha!! it was after we sat for our form 6 exams waiting for results and two months before we were officially a high school graduate, we got the consent from the principal to start our studies in the college first, and two months later back to school for the high school graduation, a rather unique experience i would say.. this photo was one of the few photos i took during college life, taken on the graduation at nikko hotel in 1996, since it was just diploma hence we didn't wear a mortar board (but i don't understand why the college still insisted to do that??).. the woman behind was the dean, i shall never forget her high-pitch english and her thick lips pushing out when she talked.. and the man who was giving away the certificate, still remember our former deputy education minister?? after this, it was busy time preparing to fly to UK, and those i shall share with you again some days later.. :) |

| 中學時期雖然話課業繁重考試頻密, 但係每逢學校假期, 我哋一班合得來嘅同學, 通常都會搞下外游.. 我記得最喪嘅嗰一兩年, 我哋係每個學校假期都必定去雲頂高原住個三日兩夜, 而且每次都係浩浩蕩蕩十數人!! 哈哈, 其實雲頂高原有咩咁好玩呢?? 相當年又唔入得賭場, 不過此情此景, 確實非常之令人難忘呀.. 當然, 當年都仲係學生, 就梗係限制於區域性旅遊啦.. 雖然比唔起有父母帶出國旅行嘅朋友(尤其今時今日嘅小朋友就更加幸福啦), 但係我覺得一班同學仔齊齊旅行, 確實係更加開心囉.. 所以各位父母呀, 當你啲子女請願賣甩你都要同朋友出街, 其實只不過係成長中嘅一個階段啫.. 跡象顯示子女大個喇, 係時候放手俾佢哋更多自由, 係唔值得閉翳嘅其實.. :) |
| though studies was heavy and exams were frequent during high school days, whenever it came to school holidays, a gang of the closer schoolmates would usually organize group outings.. i still remember the craziest thing we have done, was to go to Genting Highlands for a 3D2N stay during each school holidays, and everytime it would be a group of close to 20!! haha, i now wonder what's actually so great about the place, since we were not allowed in the casino those days.. anyway, still that was something i cherish a lot until today.. of course we were still students back then, and really were limited to travel within the region.. though less lucky that those who followed their parents to travel overseas (especially kids nowadays are even more lucky), i think it was actually more fun to be able to travel with mates in a group.. therefore parents, when your kids would rather ditch you and hang out with their mates, it's really just part of their growing-up routines.. this shows that your kids had already grown up, and it's time to let go them for more freedom, there's nothing really needs to be sighed about.. :) |

| 我記得大概升上中三之後, 相機先比較普遍出現喺校園之內, 所以我啲校園生活照大部份都係中學後期時候影嘅.. 當年仲未有數碼相機, 全部都係菲林相機, 所以影咗相係要等到曬好晒先由得睇.. 最記得就係當年相簿逐個傳, 裡面有張紙仔俾大家order相片嘅, 好似多年來都係三毫一張.. 諗諗下以前曬相其實都洗咗唔少錢, 邊似依家咁方便?? 影咗即刻有得睇, 影得唔靚可以無限次再影, 大家滿意喇, 即刻網上傳送, 幾咁方便.. 所以呢啲hardcopy相片, 可以話係彌足珍貴呀, 等我得閑真係要全數scan入部腦好好保存先得~~ :) |
| i remember only since Form 3 that cameras were more common at school, and that explained why most of my photos at school were taken during the later years of my high school life.. there was no digital cameras back then and all we used were negatives, hence we had to wait for the negatives to get developed before we could see the photos.. i clearly remember there were always photo albums being passed around, there was one piece of paper for everyone to order their photos, it was always 30-sen per piece i remember.. come to think about it, i have actually spent quite a lot in ordering photos, unlike how convenient it is now.. snap and see, not happy and snap again, until everyone is happy then distribute the photo online.. hence all these hardcopy old photos are so precious, i definitely want to scan them all and store them into my computer one day~~ :) |

| 呢兩張相唔係我新年打掃除嘅時候無意中發現嘅, 其實呢兩本中學成績冊我到依家都仲保存得很好㗎.. 各位朋友, 相裡面就係十三歲讀初中同埋十六歲讀高中嘅我喇, 哇哈哈!! 呢一篇係我「成長系列」其中一個post, 我覺得睇返以前啲相係好有趣嘅一件事, 更多時候係可以令自己笑到碌地嗰隻, 哈哈!! 睇返呢兩張中學相, 我很好奇點解我會係「孖膶腸嘴」嘅?? 真係百思不得其解.. 而且好恐怖呀, 我以前原來係唔梳頭㗎, 俾著依家我肯定唔允許自己唔梳頭就踏出屋企半步囉~~ :D |
| these two photos are not what i found during my CNY spring cleaning, but i have been keeping my high school results booklet in perfect conditions till now.. ladies and gentlemen, that was me at age 13 during junior high school and 16 during senior high school, muahahaha!! this is part of my "growing up" series of posts, and i think it's fun to look back at some old photos that could really crack me up, haha!! by looking at these two photos, i wonder why i had "sausage lips" back then?? this is so "bewildering".. and i didn't even care to comb my hair, which i will never allow myself to not have my hair combed before stepping out of my house now~~ :D |

| 兩個星期前俾大家睇咗我在運動場上嘅威水史, 今日就俾大家見識一下我文藝嘅一面.. 當然呢啲都係咸豐年前嘅事喇, 呵呵.. 話說當年除咗運動場上, 我參加各類作文演講等學術性比賽, 都有不俗嘅成績, 曾經一度於同一個集會, 上台領獎五次咁多, 哈哈!! 當年仲俾老師甄選為學校在天后宮舉辦嘅年度籌款盛事上台表演壓軸節目, 相裡面就係同我個老拍檔嘅相聲表演《生活的習慣》(當然, 我係相中左邊, 化晒濃裝嘅個小男生, 呵呵!!).. 當然演出得到千人觀眾嘅如雷掌聲啦, 算係我小學生涯中一點輝煌成就, 呵呵!! :p |
| two weeks ago, i showed everyone the athletic side of me and today let me show you the artistic side of me.. of course both were already a gazillion years ago, haha.. it was way back aside of the sports scene that i had been participating in academic competitions like writing composition and giving speech.. i got good results and there was once in an assembly i went up stage to receive my prize as many as five times, hehe!! and on that year, i was selected by the teachers to perform for the annual fund raising event held at Tien Hou Temple, that was the xiang sheng titled "habits of life" that i performed with my good old partner in the photo above (of course i was the little boy with thick makeup on the left in the photo, hoho!!).. of course we received loud applause from the thousand of audience, that could be a little glory during my primary school life, hehe!! :p |

| 係, 絕對冇花冇假, 相裡面的而且確係本人!! 廿四年以前咁耐啦, 攝於運動會之後.. 啲獎座係參加各項賽跑嘅勝利品, 我當時係校隊嘅賽跑健將.. 當年喺運動場上嘅威水史確實係令我回味無窮, 不過咸豐年前啦都.. 正所謂「小時了了, 大未必佳」, 呢句話正正靈驗在我身上囉, 哈哈!! 睇下以前自己幾lean幾fit, 同今日肥屍大隻, 走多幾步都喘晒氣嘅我相比, 真係判若兩人.. 而且最近不斷回憶以前嘅自己, 似係上咗年紀嘅阿叔輩嘅情懷囉.. 哎呀, 即係表示自己心理上開始老喇, 該煨囉~~ :D |
| yes, and no question asked, that was me in the photo above!! two-dozen years ago that long, taken after the sports day.. those trophies were my catch of the track events i participated, i was a sprinter (representing the school) back then.. those days of glory on the field are really what i always will cherish, but those were the days.. the chinese has a saying "good when young doesn't mean good when grown up", and this really reflects my situation now, haha!! look at how lean and how fit i was, compared to the fat one that already panting after a short run, that seems to be a totally different person.. well, keep thinking of the past seems like what aged uncles do huh?? hmmm, that means i am getting old mentally already~~ :D |

| 噚晚無意中搵到三十年前嘅我, 我仲記得當時係喺三叔間豪宅度, 啱啱沖完涼坐喺檯梳妝上, 但係就唔記得究竟為乜事個口擘到咁大, 哈哈!! 當時著嘅呢一件唐老鴨T恤, 印象中好多相我都係著住佢嘅, 我諗當年我應該好鐘意呢件T恤囉.. 其實我到依家都幾鐘意唐老鴨嘅, 多過一般人喜歡嘅米奇老鼠, 嘻嘻!! 睇返以前啲相, 我個樣好似都冇變到, 以前同依家都係同一個(醜)樣.. 我以前皮膚白雪雪, 街坊士多個老闆叫我「白老鼠」, 當然三十年後嘅依家, 又老又殘要靠好多護膚品先勉強有靚靚肌膚囉.. 仲有, 大家睇下, 原來我三十年前就已經跳咗呢個gangnam style嘅舞喇!! :D |
| accidentally found myself some 30 years ago last night, i still remember this was taken in my uncle's mansion, right after shower i sat on the makeup table, but cannot remember why the heck i was opening my mouth so wide, haha!! i was wearing this donald duck t-shirt, and my impression told me there were a lot of photos taken with me wearing this t-shirt, guess i must have loved it so much back then.. actually till now, i still like donald duck wokay, more than mickey mouse that most people like, hiihii!! looking back at these photos, i found i have not changed, still that same (ugly) face like before.. i had very fair and smooth skin back then, the boss of the grocery stall in the neighborhood used to call me "white mice" but of course 30 years later, i need to rely on lots of facial products to try to keep my old wrinkled face with reasonably decent complexion.. and look, i have actually the gangnam style dance moves back then alrready!! :D |
