Hokkaidō Trip Summer 2014 - DAY 1 of 8
From Kuala Lumpur to Nagoya (名古屋)
中文讀者請注意: 因為篇幅問題, 這一系列日本遊記只有英語版本, 敬請見諒..
okay, here comes the travelogue of my recent trip to Japan, i'll try to blog as long-winded detailed as possible.. since majority of my readers only read English, i'll omit my usual Chinese write-up for the time being, so that i can focus to write more in a single language.. as this is the first post, do let me know what you think of this style (which is so not me, because everyone seems like to scroll, haha!!), let me know if you think this is too lengthy (or not detailed enough)~~ :p
Show me: Image & Text   Image Only   Text Only
day 1 started excruciatingly early at 5:30am because we were taking the AirAsia flight D7542 at 0845 from KLIA2 to Nagoya.. we buffered more time for a few reasons, and were glad we did so.. if you are flying from KLIA2 in the future, you may want to consider these factors as well..
  1. the new airport is way bigger than the old LCCT, it takes more time to walk to the gate and also more shopping to do in the airport mall
  2. it was the Raya festive and peak season for holiday makers, the airport was already packed with people as early as 5:00am
  3. there are two rounds of security scanning, one after immigration and another before the boarding gate
Nagoya Japan - AirAsia X
#1-1 ■ ■
since there is no direct flight to Hokkaidō (from the budget airlines we searched for), we flew to Nagoya (名古屋) and then took a domestic flight to Sapporo (札幌).. of course you can fly to Tōkyō (東京) or Ōsaka (大阪), but since flying to Nagoya is cheaper and we have not been there before, Nagoya was the choice for a stopover.. we got our return flight at RM984, no meals or other extras, and every two of us shared one basic 20kg check-in baggage allowance as we won't have much things with us until we come back.. yes, we are smart traveller :p
Nagoya Japan - Tonkotsu Ramen
#1-2 ■ ■
it was a 6½ hour flight and we survived just on bread and rice balls bought a day earlier from AEON and "smuggled" onboard (tips!!).. because i think i deserve cheaper and nicer food onboard, haha!! after the long flight with little food, we were starving and this was the first meal we had once touched down at Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya (中部国際空港 Chūbu Kokusai Kūkō).. this ramen at ¥780 was of the pork marrow soup base (豚骨ラメン tonkotsu ramen), that kicked start our search for a "ramen grand slam", haha!! we slurped the springy ramen and flavorful broth, loud as the Japanese culture, it tasted so good and we said おいしい (oishii meaning delicious)..
Nagoya Japan - From Airport to City
#1-3 ■ ■
happily posing for photos after being fed with a bowl of nice ramen, contented!! this was the train on the Meitetsu Line (名鉄線 Meitetsu Sen) that we took to the city from the airport.. instead of Nagoya Station (名古屋駅 Nagoya-eki), we stopped at Kanayama Station (金山駅 Kanayama-eki) to change for the Meijō Line (名城線, Meijō-sen) subway for our hotel located in the Sakae (栄) area.. the trip of roughly 30 minutes cost us ¥810 for JR and another ¥200 for the subway..
Nagoya Japan - Doraemon Stand By Me Poster
#1-4 ■ ■
the Meijō SubwayLine (名城線, Meijō-sen) is actually a circle line, so take note of which direction you are travelling though you will eventually reach your destination either way, haha!! out of the station, this was the first Doraemon I saw during this trip to Japan.. posters asking not to cry together with Doraemon (いっしょに ドラ泣き しません issho ni dora naki shimasen - don't know if my translation is correct??) for the upcoming movie "Stand by Me", but too bad the timing wasn't right so I'll just pose and take a photo then~~ :p
Nagoya Japan - Sakae
#1-5 ■ ■
i have to confess, if we did not linger too long inside the airport, it would still be bright daylight coming out of the station towards our hotel.. but there were really too many attractive souvenirs and delicious food sampling (and unbelievably polite promoters) that kept us a while in the airport, haha!! anyway, nice also to get a night view of the area since we were leaving for Sapporo (札幌) the next afternoon..
Nagoya Japan - Nagoya TV Tower
#1-6 ■ ■
so we were in the Sakae (栄) area carrying our luggage towards our hotel.. on the way we passed by a few attractions, the Oasis 21 (オアシス21 Oashisu 21) and Hisaya Ōdori Park (久屋大通公園 Hisaya Ōdori Kōen), as well as in the background the landmark Nagoya TV Tower (名古屋テレビ塔 Nagoya Terebi-tō) built in 1954 and standing at 180m which is the oldest TV tower in Japan.. if you have watched the movie "Godzilla", this is THE tower.. :p
Nagoya Japan - Miso Katsu
#1-7 ■ ■
dinner time right after check-in and a little rest.. we didn't walk far but just settled our dinner at one of the canteen style eatery (食堂 shokudō) near hotel.. lucky us, as this random pick didn't disappoint us at all, instead the food was nice and we really enjoyed it!! this pork cutlet with miso sauce (味噌カツ miso katsu) is one of the must-eat in Nagoya (take note!!), our set came with the katsu on a pile of rice and another bowl of udon (うどん) at ¥840..
Nagoya Japan - Hotel MyStays
#1-8 ■ ■
after dinner, a lazy stroll around the area and then grabbing some snacks from the Lawson convenience store next to our hotel.. Fing-Fing liked this citrus jelly drink so much that he was not willing to share with Daddy, how mean!! we put up a night at Hotel MyStays Nagoya-Sakae (ホテルマイステイズ名古屋栄) at a rate of ¥5950 per double room per night, i had a good sleep..
that's day 1 of the trip, nothing much really since we were travelling, and please pardon the quality of the photos because they were all taken with my phone.. stay tuned for day 2 as we spent half a day exploring a little of Nagoya (名古屋) before flying to Sapporo (札幌) in the evening.. :)

    1. Oooooo....you flew X, dunno if my friend was on duty on your flight or not.

    2. You've had both - are the dishes sold here in the Japanese restuarants in our country the same as those over there? Just like the say Penang char kway teow is not the same as the authentic ones in Penang?

      Delete
    3. Penang char kway teow in KL, that is. The ones in Sibu, the so-called Penang char kway teow, no need to ask lah...not the same at all - not that they're not nice just that they're not the same.

      Delete
    4. I also want to know! Is the Japanese food you had over here comparable to those in Japan? Possibly depends on the restaurant. Some can serve up authentic tasting ones while others are just a pathetic imitation.

      Delete
    5. Phong - I am sure there's no comparison of the food there and here. That's what my Japanese friend told me. The sashimi especially are very fresh over there.

      Delete
    6. I don't know why but when I was in Japan, the food there is super delicious. Here I think somehow the seafood is just not as fresh as in Japan. Even the Ramen, in Japan, the porky taste in the soup is super super stronger than here.

    7. Good morning Sibu King of Chops and all bloggers.

Of course I like this scroll down photos of the blog....it is just easy and suits normal human behaviour of reading. Even future mothers would look & stare at future son-in-laws from top to bottom. That's human eyes.

I don't mind you typing in 2 languages English & Chinese but it gives you more work. That was what attracted me to your blog many years ago because I could see your sincerity to cater for both types of readers - Banana ones and Chinese literate. Honestly, the expressions are always better written in Mandarin but too bad I cannot read them. How about Tamil language to cater for our hometown slumdog friends?? Huh, you forgotten them Thambee!!!! How sad!

    8. wah youi have so many friends working in airlines punya ah....tarak kasi freebies ka? LOL

      Delete
    9. Bet if youtake that airlines you wont have to seludup food like SK leh. Sure friend timbun u with loads of food and drinks

    10. @ suituapui.. you mean Ivan?? err, nope, never seen him before all the while taking AA, haha!! and if i see him next time, i must tell him i am Arthur's friend and get him to "timbun me with loads of food and drinks" (quote Small Kucing)~~ :D

@ Twilight Man: it's weird to read that you said "I don't mind you typing in 2 languages English & Chinese".. errr, i have been writing in 2 languages for many years, you don't mind means writing in 2 languages is something not right?? then i shall only write in English in the future, hahaha~~ :D

and everyone, call me pro-Japan but then i really think the Japanese food here (or at least the big majority) cannot compare with those i had in Japan before.. those in Japan are undoubtedly more authentic, more fresh, more honest and done with heart over there.. ask anyone who has been to Japan before, i guess everyone gives the same answer :)

      Delete
    11. If write in English then I'll be very sad lo!! But this post seems to be very long, if you have to write in two languages then it can be very very long, so make it in one language is fine for this...(but not same for the future one as well, right?)

  2. I like this post very much, this's so details, especially the first picture la of coz, right? But those pictures took by you phone also look quite nice already, guess you've very good camera shooting skill1

    1. #1 I prefer the text and image style!! I know right, the KLIA 2 is so so big, have to walk very far to reach to the gate, it was fun to walk that far before you start your trip, but it's kind of tired after you got to walk as that far to get the luggage during your back journey which you hope to get home as soon as possible to have some rest!!

      Delete
    2. Me too! Text & image!!! Read, see, read, see....

      Delete
    3. Yup, yup! Super like this old style. Can see the photos clearer also.

      Delete
    4. I also prefer text and image. I think you took the pics with your phone right ?

      Delete
    5. That's what he said: "...and please pardon the quality of the photos because they were taken with my phone.." Personally, I think the photos are good, no difference to me.

      Delete
    6. No need to say pardon the quality of the photos because the quality of the photos are good enough. Put my photos to shame. That day only Hayley made a comment - why are the photos so blur. Hahaha, yours SK is much much better. :)

      Delete
    7. Nowadays, phone cameras can take very good pixs unless you are using the low-end phones.

      Delete
    8. We requested and SK give us what we wont. I recalled in one post someone asked for detailed cost. What Guess SK really work hard korek out all the receipt on the train and food ...see how much spent. For me I will have trouble remembering the exact amount spent without receipt especially it's 8days trip

      Delete
    9. Exactly, Chris...don't I know that only too well...like this ancient handphone of mine. Never mind, as long as it serves its purpose. To each its own, use camera for photos, not a problem as I bring it wherever I go (most of the time).

      Delete
    10. mun, hehe sorry ya, I was just asking why, cause memang a bit blur.. :p

      Delete
    11. yeah, i know my readers like to read the flat layout, with all the images and text together for scrolling.. i knew that, all these while i was doing those interactive scripting just to satisfy my own desire only, hahahaha!!

yes, KLIA2 is very huge, still okay during departure because we were looking forward to fly.. but when coming back, we were dreading our body and yet had to walk so far from the gate to the immigration, i guess easily 20 minutes!!

ah, i don't actually quite remember the price of the things i mentioned above, the numbers can be just a rough number.. but i just put them in as a reference.. once again, especially on food, the price are just a rough one.. :)

i didn't bother to bring my camera along, i guess my phone is good enough, furthermore friends are bringing their camera so i just tumpang lah.. afterall, not my camera so i do not have to be the cameraman, so i can also be in the photo~~ :D

      Delete
    12. Small Kucing~Don't have to remember it la...so much numbers, next time just take a picture once you got the receipt, easy wat, hehe!! >.<

Yes, that's what I mean...and during my way back from the Korea trip, my mom was kept on saying this's sort of distances just like her morning walk in desa park city for a round!!

Wei, SK that's quite a smart way also ya!! The person who holds the camera always not in the picture, either she/he asked a friend to take for him/her or like me last time I'm very paiseh to ask friend to take for me, so I always got to wait for my friend offered to take for me, hehe!!

      Delete
  3. "we", you said. You went with a friend? Why no photo of your friend one? I know, I know...as they say, curiosity kills the cat! LOL!!!

why curious ah....wanna find candidate for menantu ah ? :p

    3. His friends, can be our friends also mah. Get to know one another, make more friends and the world will be a much better place to live in. Like how many of my friends became your friends and many of your friends became my friends too.

    4. I agree with Meow.

It's SK's blog and his friends may not like to be included here.

Even I tell my friends if I'm putting their photos up in my blog.

We have to respect their privacy.

Plus, if SK friends wants to be friends with us, they can always add us in FB right? Muahaha!!!

    5. errr, i am still not at the stage that i will fly elsewhere and travel alone on leisure.. as i've said before, holiday must have friends to tag along, hahaha!! and why bother about my friends?? see my face good enough lah, right?? muahahahaha~~

      Delete
    6. Yah lo, some friends might not like their photo publish in the public, like my sister also, she always say "don't tag me ya!" coz she doesn't like to let friends or anyone around her to know where she been to, as for her reason is...you know la, nowadays people go travel around then there must be someone always leave a comment "wah, so rich and so good to go travel again!" (something familiar like this...) so might just not make it public to save the explanations timing!! =]

  4. Don't remember Godzilla other than how everything jumped up every step it took!!! I remember when the movie was showing in town - I walked past a class and the students all schemed to make fun of me...and every step I took, they lifted their desks and let it down on the floor. I was so impressed by that - so clever and so cooperative so I stopped by the door and said, "You horrible people!!! But I love it!!! LOL!!!"

I remember the skyscraper in KingKong though...

Ahhh, so your Japan travelogue starts today.. Yay, been waiting for it, coz I think it's gonna be interesting in the beginning, just like your overall Japan post last week, yield over 300++ comments !! Previously you blogged according to days.. Like day1, day2, day3, this time leh? Same? Or blog according to places.. Means after a few months, sudden;y blog about that place in Japan again?

After reading your post, I guess it's gonna be according day days?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Call me jakun, but I've never been to KLIA2.. Is it the same place, just extended? Or a new place totally? No meals on board, I don't mind.. If hungry can just eat some crackers la.. Or if really cannot tahan can just buy meals on board la, no issues..

      Delete
    2. Yep, I can also survive 6.5 hours with just bread and rice balls.. At least there were some carbohydrates la.. Can last one, don't worry.. Wah, your meal upon arrival is my favourite! "mat yet dou hai ka" (everything put aside), must have ramen first, yumyum.. I can have 2 bowls!

      Delete
    3. Wait, did you slim down? I see macam you slim down jor wor.. Look at the pose where you were posing with Doraemon, so yau ying and mascular man !! Really leng zhai a lot liao wor.. Ok, I'm not saying you not leng zhai previously, but now more leng zhai jor wor..

    4. Oh, I thought your dinner was chicken katsu, then when I read your description, oohh, pork katsu.. Ok jugak, looks delicious, I don't mind having 2 sets - one chicken katsu, and one pork katsu, and 1 miso soup.. Yummzzz...

Wah, your set got rice, got pork, got udon.. Dai wor.. Can finish mou? I can la of coz..

      Delete
    5. I think SK will blog according to days. I think it is better like that so that we can follow his day to day activities in Japan. After 6.5 hours with only bread, I also need two bowls of ramen after touchdown. Especially when the ramen is so flavourful.

      Delete
    6. Poor Fing, after one whole tiring day, only got jelly drink ahh? Of coz dont wana share with daddy la, daddy already had ramen, rice, meat and udon wor, kan?

      Delete
    7. Phong Hong, same here, I also like if according to days.. Coz lastime, SK mentioned b4 he might consider blogging according to place, and not days.. Coz he said if blog according to days, very fast finish wor.. But I think he's gonna blog according to days this time.. I like too..

    8. Coz sekali after a few weeks or after 1-2 months, he suddenly post about Oasis 21 (オアシス21 Oashisu 21) and Hisaya Odori Park (久屋大通公園 Hisaya Ōdori Kōen), or Nagoya TV Tower (名古屋テレビ塔 Nagoya Terebi-tō) again, I might not remember or recall lor..

But this week, or this month, I think can, coz he already 'warn" us this month's is just gonna be his travelogue.. So I'm prepared for that..

      Delete
    9. Princess - I'm sure SK will blog in detail of his travelogue this month.

      Delete
    10. I agree with you Princess Ribbon, SK blogs day by day is easier for us to follow and also easier for me to copycat his travel plans to Japan in the future.

Hope you have a nice day Princess. :)

    15. errr, i find it easier to blog by day lah.. or to be more exact, in chronological order lah.. some days got more things to blog, i'll split into a few posts, and logically that could also go by places.. hahaha!! confusing?? but who cares lah, just read on and as long as the posts don't bore my readers :D

KLIA2 is still new lah, not surprising if anyone of you have not been there before, sure one day you may go there and take a look..

just photo only, and of course i chose those that i look OK and hide those that i look fugly lah, haha!! wait until you all see me in real person, so don't have high expectation okay?? :D

  11. Good idea to start the journey early so that you have more time when you reached there. And furthermore , Japan started their day earlier than us. Never been to klia2 , it seems very easy to lost there. Hahah ..... oh yeah , you travel during the hari raya holidays. It will definitely be very crowded as everyone wanted to take this opportunity for a getaway.

    2. KLIA2 very big. Walked until I wanna die. I was there in May this year. So big. Have to walk so far. Must start journey early. Very true.

      Delete
    3. I also jakun ... never been there before but then it's too far for me. SK and gang likely have a hard time searching for the booth and gates but did some good morning walk.:)

    4. heard people complaint KLIA2 very big and the Kastam or imigresion (apa itu spelling ah?) located in an obscured place

      Delete
    5. Japan time is one hour earlier than us. But that doesn't mean that they start early mah... Just adjust the watch la! LOL

      Delete
    6. yes, KLIA2 is very big and remember the points stated above, buffer probably 30 minutes more.. not too bad for departure, but on arrival, it was actually killing, have to walk so far like 20 minutes from the gate to immigration.. ahhh!!! legs also "jelly" already~~

and so true, why go and bother your time back home when you are at another country?? unless you are thinking about contacting your friends or relatives at home, you consider the time difference.. else, follow the local time and live with it.. i was feeling weird when some people keep calculating the MY time, and must follow MY time to eat or sleep, and everything must make a reference to MY time.. why so redundant?? it's causing confusion only..

      Delete
  12. So you guys saved money as well as visit nagoya. Very well plan ! Love the ramen ! These are the authentic ones as i mentioned before , unlike our local Japanese eateries which simply cook up some instant noodles in miss soup.

  14. I like the Japanese rail lines. They are well connected and you can get to your destination easily with the help of some town buses. Did you took the bullet train ?

    ReplyDelete

    1. ya wor...not like here...after come down have to take a cab or walk very far away to connect to other place

      Delete
    2. Err.... actually at some places there is the need to walk quite a bit for connecting train because the stations are big, Meow.

Just that, maybe the connection is better than what we experienced here.

But truth be said, I'm quite OK with the LRT/monorail connection and also KL Sentral. Not great but OK lah. Walking is inevitable when it comes to using public transport.

      Delete
    3. i would say the have a much better and advanced, well planned and well connected public transportation system.. which i guess takes 20 years for us to catch up?? hahaha..

the LRT/monorail connection at KL Sentral was bad while Nu Sentral was being built.. of course it was nice now with Nu Sentral opened and we can cross over using the link.. before that, gotta walked such a long distance under dark basement smelling exhaust from the coaches.. i rather chose to go to Masjid Jamek, then change to Star to Hang Tuah to change to a Monorail.. :p

So this is what you meant with 'a new style' of the travelogue! Given us 3 options, aiyah I think majority of readers will pick the first one, image and text together, like that baru can fully 'utilise' everything you have prepared for us ma!! ;)

Oh ya, no wonder you wrote in my post that you were sending off a friend at KLIA2 and took the chance to preview this airport! Now only I realize you were hinting me that you were going to travel soon! :p
I remember the LCCT, quite small and nothing much to shop one, in fact, it's a bit dirty and 'lao beh', KLIA is so much nicer and cleaner.
But this KLIA2, I don't know, see if got chance to experience it later :p
Ya ho, you traveled during the raya season, of course the airport would be packed regardless of time. So air tickets during holiday season more expensive? Or you guys actually booked the tickets few months ago?
Ok, noted about the security scanning, thanks for sharing ya!

    2. yalah, writing English only i can have more time so use the time to write in more details lah, afterall, i guess all my readers can read English lah, but not all my readers can read Chinese..

oh KLIA2 is nicer than KLIA actually.. bigger and newer and more shops to go.. it's kind of funny right?? the budget airline terminal is like more supreme, hahaha, or probably the business is better and crowd is more in KLIA2 lah, so more shops wanna get in~~ :D

    3. Yes yes, most readers can read English la! ;)
But either way, we will also come support you geh~

Oh really? Hmm, may be because it's new la, so still very 'welcomed' and popular, hopefully the 'nice' can stay for as long as possible! ;)

  41. Actually I think the plan you guys chosen is ok wert, flew to Nagoya first, then take the domestic flight, also is an experience, and can see more things!
Return flight price is ok, not to say very expensive also, and yea you guys memang very 细心 in planning things, 2 people share 20kg, that person you shared is a guy also is it? Guys seems to have lesser things to bring/buy, but if for me I don't know will be enough or not, wakakak!

So you din't order anything on board la? Haha, good good, smuggling is good in this case, since food on board also not cheap and taste not good. But must be careful also la if want to smuggle, later kena caught then susah also. Luckily you guys were safe! :p
Just bread and rice balls can tahan? You guys must be small eaters!! But then just 7 hours flight still ok la, if long journey one sure cannot lo. Plus bread also can tahan quite long, since it's carbs ma! Great, next time must learn from you, wahaha!
But whenever I go travel, will try to eat lesser on board, cause scared of being too full, you know la travelling on plane we can only sit there, cannot suka suka stand up and walk walk ma, so if eating too full and terus sit there for hours, kinda susah one. But I make sure I keep myself hydrated all the time.
So that was your first meal! The broth looks thick! I guess usually we will wallop clean the whole thing, cause must be hungry already upon touch down.

So when you see that Doraemon poster, you must be thrilled! Aiseh, too bad timing wasn't right! Else can catch that movie.
Wah really got so many attractions in the airport? I love food sampling, haha! I guess it's ok la, night view also beautiful ma! You can't have everything at once geh, so sacrifice a bit to 'receive' better things later. Hehe!

Oh yaya, that tower, no wonder macam very familiar la! ;)

That random pick dinner was good huh? Even random pick also good, that means Japanese food is really good!!
The price is about RM 26++, ok la, not too expensive. Most important is the taste, if taste good pay a bit more also worth it (that's what I always believe in).

      Delete
    2. yeah, i think this plan is not bad at all.. we have not been to Naogya and since flying there is cheaper, so why not?? we were lucky, the dates we fly are the cheapest during that period lor.. we bought like three months earlier, and the price still the same in the end, so nothing to do with early bird luck also..

yalah, the food really sharks onboard somemore so expensive.. expensive okaylah, but at least make the food more delicious lor.. that's why, rather eat my overnight bread bought from AEON better, hahahaha!! of course we can only "tapau" light snacks onboard lah, that's why touched down that time, very hungry lor, so happy with that bowl of nice ramen..

post trip research!! haha, when i wrote this post, i did research on places i went before.. the other way round, of course i also research before the trip to plan for the itinerary but not as much details because i am like going to talk about the places i went mah.. you learn i also learn, hehe~~

oh, yeah!! that's a pleasant surprise to find they have the Doraemon roadshow.. and lucky us, just a random pick and the food was nice.. probably generally the shops are all selling good food lor.. :)

      Delete
    3. Wah like that you guys are really lucky lo! Can get cheap flight tickets! Oh, 3 months earlier!

Yea I agree, at least make the food worth the money, rather than just normal boring food.. (But as far as I concern, food on board usually don't taste nice one, haha)
Ya of course can only tapao light food, takkan bring nasi lemak meh? ;P

Post trip research, I do that too! Don't care whether readers interested or not la, at least I feel like doing it. Like you said, everyone also learn...

Nowadays many people use handphone to take photos, rather than bringing camera, cause it's much more convenient, and lighter also, unless for those very camera-hardcore fans la!

ChrisAu, agree. These days punya phones quality not bad, of course cannot beat dslr la! But then bringing dslr very troublesome, must take good care la, meaning have to bring the protection bag along (if ladies that means we cannot bring nice handbag already, if not will need to bring 2 bags!). Then the weight also is an issue.
But the good thing is, dslr always can shoot beautiful and high quality photos la! So, I think it's up to individual to decide lo...

SK, yaya I know what you mean, everyday go and buy different snacks to try, if one day buy a few types also can pokkai lo! xD
But since we are already at oversea, don't save this kinda money la hor? ;)

Oh, true also, 生保床ma! Sure got problems sleeping in the first few days. But eventually will get used to it. So did you miss your room and smell when you were at Japan? Haha of course la right? ^^
But at least you can hug FF to sleep, not that bad still :p

Oh good la, me opposite case, my friend 指意 me to bring camera (cause they know I don't mind, LOL) one, so usually they don't bring and I do...

Gotta love a good bowl of tonkotsu ramen! But I remember when my Japanese counterpart saw me ordering it, he said it is tourist ramen, the locals prefer miso or shoyu, tonkotsu is too much flavor for Japanese. He was semi drunk when he said that though..

  48. Last time when I travel with William, we can starve for a while and then find an economical place to eat. But since I have kids, travelling kenot really save money dy. Need to make sure he eats right or else gastric lagi susah. Kenot enjoy the holiday then..
