[Volume 10 Issue 6, #2035]
On My Birthday
let me first clarify that today is not my birthday, just that i am sharing what i did on 17th June.. the table below is basically a rundown of events on the day, the time of course are just approximate.. super-duper simple but those were really all i did on my birthday!! not young anymore lah, just keep things simple will do.. :)

starting a beautiful day with a big breakfast, and this has been like my birthday "tradition" for the recent years.. my kind of breakfast, thanks to my friend for the scrumptious treat!! :)
11:30
friend suggested going to the newly opened Mitsui Outlet Park and so we went, but not much to see as many are still not opened.. look at the price tag below and you will realized (most of the) things are not cheap at all, including (i thought should be free) parking.. been there, seen it and back with empty hands.. :D
17:30
stayed for about two hours before going back to KL, had a normal lunch and then to the gym to sweat out a bit, and then back to office in the late afternoon to settle some minor stuffs.. at the same time had a little cake that was given by a friend, a set of very beautiful cupcakes which i shall show you in another post.. :)
19:30
okay, i know what you are waiting for.. dinner was japanese - the sushi was on the house after we scanned some barcode, and the rest were from the bento i ordered.. very nice and burps, satisfying too, thank you to my friend for the birthday treat!! :)
21:30
back home, we don't really celebrate birthdays.. but my sister made me two "red" eggs, and "red??" you wonder.. forgotten to dye the eggs while cooking, she quickly spread some red dye on the eggs with her fingers later, hence this "artistic" eggs with abstract "paintings".. kind of special, hahaha!!

  1. This is the diary of your birthday! So detailed and would be perfect if you added the hours you went to toilet besides reading Anay's birthday post for you. What a lucky Thambee to be so spoiled rotten.

  2. So, you really took leave for your birthday ? I thought you are still working ...muahahhaa... Not bad, and you still workout on your special day! Yeah, likeTM said, you are one spoilt Anay!
    More comments tomorrow!

    1. Hello blurry Kurage. Let me correct you once again that TM is Anay and SK is Thambee... get it?

So SK Thambee is a spoilt brat and well loved Ah Boy!!!! Also doubles as a celebrity blogger and mega star Sherman Khan.

    2. OK ok ..Anay. You know, both of you can be very confusing. Can;t one be Anay and the other Aminah ? muaahahahha

    3. LOL, maybe one should be Sophia and the other Maria, muahaha

    1. I am also a firm believer that we must start the day right with good breakfast and a smile so that the whole day would blessed. Ever heard of folks who were grumpy and bitchy all day when they woke up on the wrong side of their beds?

    2. True also though I'm not superstitious but that will eventually makes you feel positive and feel good throughout the day, especially with a nice breakie!

  4. what is that Mitsui Outlet Park? Is that a mall or a resto? It looks like a Depot to me...tried converting that 229RM to our PHP... the result is 2732 O_O
    gosh..
I wonder why the 229 above is bring crossed out and then they replace it with the same price hehe

    1. Mitsui Outlet Park is a new shopping hub for cheap branded stuffs or a factory excess outlet as commonly known in US. I am sure they have this in Manila that's called CLOTHESLINE.

You know our SK Thambee is a hi-fi blogger who only wears branded stuffs from head to toe. When I meet him, I have to find clothes and parfums to match his Burberry and Prada outfits otherwise he won;t grant me an audience. Wakakakaka

      Delete
    2. Oh.... I thought it sold branded goods like JPO which Thambee will be interested since he loves branded stuffs. But if its cheap goods, then how come the stuff so expensive ? What other outlets they have
? It seems this mall was quite popular judging from the comments from other readers where there are a lot of cars. Maybe Thambee went on a weekday.

  5. what.. you went to gym for your birthday... wow.. if it's my birthday.. i will not do anything so hard and challenging.. it's my day so it's my cheat day too LOL... anyway, i guess you did the right thing since you get sweet treats afterwards...

    1. If it is my birthday, I will spend my morning the gym, afternoon hiking, evening in the pool and sauna. Hehehe! I don't mind staying active whole day.

    2. That birthday boy ate so much during the day and went to the gym to burn some calories & pooped before his marathon binge eating at dinner and eggs for supper. SK is so trimmed and toned like a real Bollywood mega star >>>> SHERMAN KHAN!

      Delete
    3. @yanie.. oh that's good for you Yanie.. hopefully I am that fit enough to be active the whole day too but the laziness always strikes me hahah

@TM... you made me laugh with your comments haha... oh he should be the next action star with that trimmed and toned body huh...oh gosh can't wait for his movie to come... might ask his autograph too hehe

      Delete
    4. Anay, the birthday boy is well-planned, he always makes sure the input and output of calories are equal, then only he can maintain his very toned body in order to fit into his Prada and Burberry outfits.

    5. Usually, my birthday is a quiet one where it is business as usual though my family is with me. Not sure why, maybe I am the breadwinner though I love to plan it like SK's. Most of the time, I will plan for my family members' birthday ... again because I am the breadwinner. hahah...

    1. SK always eat Japanese food very often and treats everyday as his birthdays. What a lucky and happy Ah Boy.... Japanese food is always healthy and appetizing with all the bite-sized dishes. I wish I could afford to eat so often like SK. He has so many generous friends who pamper him like an idol.

      Delete
    2. Yes, SK always likes bite-sized food like what he posted on his previous blog on buffet. I guess maybe SK also pamper his friends on their birthday like how he pamper us with CDs and vouchers at times.
So, he got the good things back from his friends... good karma!

    2. oh.. that's interesting...
oh yeah... balut, despite of that disgusting look surprisingly tastes great.. you must try it sometimes if you hit Philippines

  9. So you took half day leave then back to work after that, not bad one, I guess next time I should be like this also instead of taking whole day leave, hehe! So morning don't have to wake up so early, can go jalan jalan first before head back to the office, but also because it's half day so the time should be passed very first, then can have another celebration already, hehe =]

Big breakfast, looks nice, look at that scrambled eggs, a lot! Very protein-riched breakfast!
Eh this Mitsui Outlet Park, where is it? Never heard before oo. And what's that that caused RM 229? Memang not cheap but also depends on what's that la, and what brand.
We local hard to shop at outlet one la... Those outlets are for tourists only, 建来骗旅客的,haha!
Empty handed? Never mind la, save money, and consider taking a walk since you took a big breakfast.

You went to gym on your birthday? Haha good good, burn a bit calories so that you can eat again later ;)

Still good despite the eggs are not red - better in fact, no need to eat red dye that sometimes seeped through the egg shells onto the egg whites. Cupcakes from small kucing are pretty too. I have never heard of Mitsui outlet park. Let me check where it is from google map, Thanks for sharing about your big day.
